1 Alleluia. Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever.	1 - Alleluia! Celebrate il Signore, perch'egli è buono, perchè in eterno è la sua misericordia!
2 Let Israel now say: For he is good, for his mercy is forever.	2 Su dica Israele ch'egli è buono, perchè in eterno è la sua misericordia.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say: For his mercy is forever.	3 Su [lo] dica la casa d'Aronne, perchè in eterno è la sua misericordia.
4 Let those who fear the Lord now say: For his mercy is forever.	4 Su [lo] dican quelli che temono il Signoreperchè in eterno è la sua misericordia.
5 In my tribulation, I called upon the Lord. And the Lord heeded me with generosity.	5 Di tra l'angustia invocai il Signore e m'ha esaudito il Signore [traendomi fuori] al largo.
6 The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me.	6 Il Signore è il mio aiuto e non temo, checchè possan farmi gli uomini.
7 The Lord is my helper. And I will look down upon my enemies.	7 Il Signore è il mio aiuto, e io guardo dall'alto i miei nemici.
8 It is good to trust in the Lord, rather than to trust in man.	8 Meglio confidar nel Signore, che sperar negli uomini.
9 It is good to hope in the Lord, rather than to hope in leaders.	9 Meglio confidar nel Signore, che sperare ne' principi.
10 All the nations have surrounded me. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	10 Tutte le nazioni mi circondarono, e nel nome del Signore le ho sbaragliate!
11 Surrounding me, they closed in on me. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	11 Strettamente mi circuirono, e nel nome del Signore le ho sbaragliate!
12 They surrounded me like a swarm, and they burned like fire among the thorns. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	12 M'attorniarono come api, divamparono come fuoco tra i pruni, e nel nome del Signore le ho sbaragliate!
13 Having been pushed, I was overturned so as to fall. But the Lord took me up.	13 Una spinta violenta mi fu data, perchè cadessi, e il Signore m'ha soccorso.
14 The Lord is my strength and my praise. And he has become my salvation.	14 La mia forza e il mio vanto è il Signore, ed egli è stato a me di salvezza.
15 A voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.	15 Voce di giubilo e di vittoria [risuona] nelle tende de' giusti:
16 The right hand of the Lord has wrought virtue. The right hand of the Lord has exalted me. The right hand of the Lord has wrought virtue.	16 «La destra del Signore ha fatto prodezze! La destra del Signore m'ha esaltato, la destra del Signore ha fatto prodezze!».
17 I will not die, but I will live. And I will declare the works of the Lord.	17 Non morrò, ma vivròe racconterò le opere del Signore.
18 When chastising, the Lord chastised me. But he has not delivered me over to death.	18 M'ha punito severamente il Signore, ma alla morte non m'ha abbandonato!
19 Open the gates of justice to me. I will enter them, and I will confess to the Lord.	19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia, [perchè], entrato per esse, io celebri il Signore!
20 This is the gate of the Lord. The just will enter by it.	20 - È questa la porta del Signore:[solo] i giusti entran per essa. -
21 I will confess to you because you have heard me. And you have become my salvation.	21 Io ti celebrerò perchè m'hai esaudito, e sei stato di salvezza a me!
22 The stone which the builders have rejected, this has become the head of the corner.	22 La pietra che avevan buttato via i costruttori, è diventata testata d'angolo.
23 By the Lord has this been done, and it is a wonder before our eyes.	23 - Per opera del Signore è avvenuto ciò, ed è una meraviglia agli occhi nostri.-
24 This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us exult and rejoice in it.	24 Quest'è il giorno che il Signore ha fatto: esultiamo e rallegriamoci in esso!
25 O Lord, grant salvation to me. O Lord, grant good prosperity.	25 O Signore, concedi salvezza, o Signore, [concedi] prosperità.
26 Blessed is he who arrives in the name of the Lord. We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.	26 - Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore, vi benediciamo dalla casa del Signore. -
27 The Lord is God, and he has enlightened us. Establish a solemn day amid a dense crowd, even to the horn of the altar.	27 Il Signore è Dio e c'illumina. Festeggiate il solenne giorno con folti ramisino agli angoli dell'altare!
28 You are my God, and I will confess to you. You are my God, and I will exalt you. I will confess to you, for you have heeded me. And you have become my salvation.	28 Il mio Dio se' tu, e ti celebrerò, il mio Dio se' tu, e t'esalterò. Ti celebrerò perchè m'hai esauditoe sei stato di salvezza a me!
29 Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever.	29 Celebrate il Signore perch'egli è buono, perchè in eterno è la sua grazia!
