1 And so they took the ark of God, and they set it in the midst of the tabernacle, which David had pitched for it. 10 Praise his holy name! Let the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice!	10 Gloriai-vos do seu santo nome, rejubile o coração dos que procuram o Senhor.
11 Seek the Lord and his virtue. Seek his face always.	11 Recorrei ao Senhor e ao seu poder, procurai continuamente sua face.
12 Remember his miracles, which he has accomplished, his signs, and the judgments of his mouth.	12 Recordai as maravilhas que operou, seus prodígios e os julgamentos por seus lábios proferidos,
13 O offspring of Israel, his servants! O sons of Jacob, his elect!	13 ó descendência de Israel, seu servo, ó filhos de Jacó, seus escolhidos!
14 He is the Lord our God. His judgments are throughout all the earth.	14 É ele o Senhor, nosso Deus; suas sentenças comandam a terra inteira.
15 Remember forever his covenant, the word that he instructed unto a thousand generations,	15 Recordai sem cessar suas alianças, a palavra que empenhou a mil gerações,
16 the covenant that he formed with Abraham, and his oath with Isaac.	16 que garantiu a Abraão e jurou a Isaac,
17 And he appointed the same to Jacob as a precept, and to Israel as an everlasting pact,	17 e confirmou a Jacó irrevogavelmente e a Israel como aliança eterna,
18 saying: ‘To you, I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.’	18 quando disse: Eu te darei a terra de Canaã, como parte da tua herança.

25 For the Lord is great and exceedingly praiseworthy. And he is terrible, above all gods.	25 Porque o Senhor é grande e digno de todo o louvor, o único temível de todos os deuses,
26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols. But the Lord made the heavens.	26 Porque os deuses dos povos, sejam quais forem, não passam de ídolos; mas foi o Senhor quem criou os céus.
27 Confession and magnificence are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.	27 Em seu semblante, a majestade e a beleza, em sua Morada, o poder e a felicidade.
28 Bring to the Lord, O families of the peoples, bring to the Lord glory and dominion.	28 Tributai ao Senhor, famílias dos povos, tributai ao Senhor a glória e a honra,
29 Give glory to the Lord, to his name. Lift up sacrifice, and approach before his sight. And adore the Lord in holy attire.	29 tributai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome. Trazei oferendas e chegai à sua presença, adorai o Senhor com ornamentos sagrados.
30 Let all the earth be moved before his face. For he founded the globe immoveable.	30 Diante dele estremece a terra inteira e não vacila, porque ele a sustém.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth exult. And let them say among the nations, ‘The Lord has reigned.’	31 Alegrem-se os céus e exulte a terra, e confessem as nações: O Senhor é rei.
32 Let the sea roar, with all its plenitude. Let the fields exult, with all that is in them.	32 Retumbe o oceano e o que ele contém, regozijem-se os campos e tudo o que existe neles.
33 Then the trees of the forest will give praise before the Lord. For he comes to judge the earth.	33 Jubilem as árvores da floresta com a presença do Senhor, pois ele vem para governar a terra.
34 Confess to the Lord, for he is good. For his mercy is eternal.	34 Louvai o Senhor, porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia é eterna.
35 And say: ‘Save us, O God our savior! And gather us together, and rescue us from the nations, so that we may confess to your holy name, and may exult in your songs.	35 Dizei: Salvai-nos ó Deus de nossa salvação, e recolhei-nos e salvai-nos de entre as nações: para que possamos celebrar o vosso santo nome e ter a satisfação de vos louvar.
36 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from eternity to eternity.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen,’ and let them sing a hymn to the Lord.”	36 Bendito seja o Senhor, Deus de Israel, pelos séculos dos séculos! E todo o povo disse: Amém! e Louvai o Senhor!
37 And so, there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, he left Asaph and his brothers, so that they might minister in the sight of the ark continually, throughout each day, and in their turns.	37 Davi deixou ali, diante da arca da aliança do Senhor, Asaf e seus irmãos para fazerem continuamente o serviço diante da arca, segundo o seu dever de cada dia;

42 Also Heman and Jeduthun sounded the trumpet, and they played upon the cymbals, and upon every kind of musical instrument, in order to sing praises to God.
