1 Und ich sah einen Engel niedersteigen aus dem Himmel, der hatte den Schlüssel zum Abgrund und eine große Kette in seiner Hand.	1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 Er ergriff den Drachen, die alte Schlange, das ist der Teufel und Satan, und fesselte ihn auf tausend Jahre.	2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 Er warf ihn in den Abgrund, schloß zu und brachte ein Siegel darüber an, damit er nicht mehr die Völker verführe, bis vollendet sind die tausend Jahre. Danach muß er losgelassen werden auf eine kurze Zeit.	3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 Und ich sah Throne, und sie setzten sich darauf, und das Gericht wurde ihnen übergeben, und ich sah die Seelen derer, die hingerichtet worden waren wegen des Zeugnisses für Jesus und wegen des Wortes Gottes, die weder das Tier und sein Bild angebetet noch dessen Malzeichen auf ihre Stirn und ihre Hand genommen hatten. Sie wurden lebendig und traten die Herrschaft an mit Christus für tausend Jahre.	4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 Die übrigen Toten wurden nicht lebendig bis zur Vollendung der tausend Jahre. Dies ist die erste Auferstehung.	5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Selig und heilig, wer teilhat an der ersten Auferstehung! Über sie hat der zweite Tod keine Gewalt, sondern Priester Gottes und Christi werden sie sein und mit ihm herrschen tausend Jahre.	6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 Wenn die tausend Jahre vollendet sind, wird der Satan losgelassen werden aus seinem Kerker,	7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 und er wird ausziehen, um die Völker an den vier Enden der Erde zu verführen, den Gog und den Magog, um sie zusammenzuholen zum Kampf. Ihre Zahl ist wie der Sand am Meere.	8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 Und sie zogen herauf über die breite Fläche der Erde und umzingelten das Lager der Heiligen und die geliebte Stadt. Da fiel Feuer herab von Gott aus dem Himmel und verzehrte sie.	9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 Der Teufel aber, der sie verführt hatte, wurde in den Feuer und Schwefelsee geworfen, in dem auch das Tier und der falsche Prophet sich befinden, und sie werden gepeinigt werden Tag und Nacht in alle Ewigkeit.	10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 Und ich sah einen mächtigen, leuchtenden Thron und den, der darauf sitzt. Vor seinem Angesicht floh die Erde und der Himmel, und für sie fand sich kein Platz mehr.	11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 Ich sah die Toten, groß und klein, vor dem Throne stehen, und Bücher wurden geöffnet. Ein eigenes Buch wurde geöffnet, das ist das Buch des Lebens, und die Toten wurden aus dem, was geschrieben war in den Büchern, gerichtet nach ihren Werken.	12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 Das Meer gab die Toten heraus, die in ihm waren, und der Tod und die Unterwelt gaben die Toten, die in ihnen waren, zurück, und sie wurden gerichtet, ein jeder nach seinen Werken.	13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 Der Tod und die Unterwelt wurden in den Feuersee geworfen; das ist der zweite Tod, der Feuersee.	14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 Und wenn sich einer nicht eingeschrieben fand im Buch des Lebens, wurde er in den Feuersee geworfen.	15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
