1 Was die Sammlung für die Heiligen betrifft: Wie ich angeordnet habe für die Gemeinden von Galatien, so sollt auch ihr tun.	1 Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also.
2 Am ersten Tag der Woche lege ein jeder von euch etwas für sich als Ersparnis zurück, wie es ihm gelegen ist, damit nicht erst dann, wenn ich komme, Sammlungen stattfinden	2 On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made.
3 Sobald ich aber eintreffe, will ich die von euch als geeignet Erachteten mit Briefen wegsenden, daß sie eure Gaben nach Jerusalem überbringen.	3 And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem.
4 Wenn es angebracht ist, daß auch ich reise, so sollen sie mit mir reisen.	4 And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me.
5 Ich werde zu euch kommen nach meiner Reise durch Mazedonien; denn Mazedonien werde ich durchreisen,	5 Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia.
6 bei euch aber möchte ich, wenn möglich, bleiben oder auch überwintern, damit ihr mir das Geleite gebt, wohin ich gehe.	6 And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go.
7 Denn ich möchte euch jetzt nicht nur im Vorbeigehen sehen, hoffe ich doch, eine Zeitlang bei euch zu bleiben, wenn der Herr es gestattet.	7 For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit.
8 In Ephesus aber will ich bleiben bis Pfingsten;	8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 denn eine Tür tat sich auf, groß und verheißungsvoll, doch auch der Widersacher sind viele.	9 For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries.
10 Wenn Timotheus kommt, so seht zu, daß er ohne Furcht bei euch sei; denn er arbeitet am Werk des Herrn wie auch ich.	10 Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Niemand denke gering von ihm, gebt ihm vielmehr im Frieden das Geleit, daß er zu mir komme; denn ich erwarte ihn mit den Brüdern.	11 Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the breatheren.
12 Was den Bruder Apollos betrifft, so bat ich ihn dringend, zu euch zu gehen mit den Brüdern; doch wollte er nicht gerade jetzt reisen, er wird aber kommen, wenn es ihm gelegen ist.	12 And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the breatheren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure.
13 Seid wachsam, steht fest im Glauben; handelt mannhaft, seid stark!	13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith,do manfully, and be strengthened.
14 Alles, was ihr tut, geschehe in Liebe!	14 Let all your things be done in charity.
15 Ich mahne euch, Brüder: Ihr wißt, das Haus des Stephanas [, des Fortunatus und Achaikus] ist die Erstlingsfrucht von Achaia; sie haben sich eingesetzt für den Dienst an den Heiligen.	15 And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints:
16 Seid auch ihr dienstfertig gegen solche und gegen jeden, der mitarbeitet und sich müht.	16 That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth.
17 Ich freue mich über die Anwesenheit des Stephanas, des Fortunatus und Achaikus, denn sie ersetzen euer Fehlen.	17 And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied.
18 Sie erquickten nämlich meinen Geist und den euren. Schätzt also solche Männer!	18 For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such.
19 Es grüßen euch die Gemeinden in Asia. Es grüßen euch vielmals im Herrn Aquila und Prisca samt der Gemeinde in ihrem Haus [, bei denen ich zu Gast bin].	19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge.
20 Es grüßen euch alle Brüder. Grüßt einander mit heiligem Kuß!	20 All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.
21 Mein eigenhändiger Gruß: Paulus.	21 The salutation of me Paul, with my own hand.
22 Wenn einer den Herrn nicht liebt, der sei ausgeschlossen. Maranatha.	22 If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.
23 Die Gnade des Herrn Jesus [Christus] sei mit euch!	23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24 Meine Liebe ist mit euch allen in Christus Jesus. [Amen.]	24 My charity be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
