1 Wieder erhob ich meine Augen und schaute: Da sah ich eine fliegende Schriftrolle.	1 Then I raised my eyes again and saw a scroll flying.
2 Und er fragte mich: "Was siehst du?" Ich erwiderte: "Ich sehe eine fliegende Schriftrolle, zwanzig Ellen lang und zehn Ellen breit."	2 "What do you see?" he asked me. I answered, "I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide."
3 Da sprach er zu mir: "Das ist der Fluch, der hinauszieht über das ganze Land. Denn jeder Dieb wird von nun an jenem Fluch gemäß weggeräumt, und jeder Meineidige wird von nun an demgemäß weggeräumt."	3 Then he said to me: "This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here.
4 "Ich lasse ihn hinausziehen" - Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen -, "damit er eindringe in das Haus des Diebes und in das Haus dessen, der bei meinem Namen falsch schwört; er soll in seinem Hause bleiben und es vernichten, sein Holz samt seinen Steinen!"	4 I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones."
5 Der Engel, der zu mir redete, trat hervor und sprach zu mir: "Erhebe deine Augen und sieh, was da zum Vorschein kommt!"	5 Then the angel who spoke with me came forward and said to me, "Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth."
6 Ich fragte: "Was ist das?" Er erwiderte: "Das ist das Epha-Maß, welches zum Vorschein kommt." Dann sprach er: "Das ist ihr Sündenmaß im ganzen Land."	6 "What is it?" I asked. And he answered, "This is a bushel container coming. This is their guilt in all the land."
7 Und siehe, der Bleideckel hob sich, und ich sah eine Frau im Epha-Maß sitzen.	7 Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting inside the bushel.
8 Er sprach: "Das ist die Schlechtigkeit", und er stieß sie ins Epha-Maß zurück und warf die Bleiplatte auf seine Öffnung.	8 "This is Wickedness," he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening.
9 Als ich meine Augen erhob und schaute, sah ich zwei Frauen herankommen, und Wind erfaßte ihre Flügel. Sie hatten nämlich Flügel wie Storchenflügel. Sie trugen das Epha-Maß zwischen Himmel und Erde dahin.	9 Then I raised my eyes and saw two women coming forth with a wind ruffling their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. As they lifted up the bushel into the air,
10 Da fragte ich den Engel, der mit mir redete: "Wohin bringen diese das Epha?"	10 I said to the angel who spoke with me, "Where are they taking the bushel?"
11 Er entgegnete mir: "Man will ihm einen Tempel bauen im Lande Sinear, und wenn er hergerichtet ist, setzt man es dort nieder auf seinem Gestell."	11 He replied, "To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar; when the temple is ready, they will deposit it there in its place."
