1 Dann sprach der Herr zu Moses:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 "Dies ist das Gesetz für den Aussätzigen am Tage seiner Reinigung: zum Priester soll er gebracht werden!	2 "This shall be the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest;
3 Der Priester aber gehe zum Lager hinaus; findet er, daß der Aussatzbefall an dem Aussätzigen geheilt ist,	3 and the priest shall go out of the camp, and the priest shall make an examination. Then, if the leprous disease is healed in the leper,
4 so ordne er an, daß man für den zu Reinigenden zwei lebende reine Vögel herbeibringe, Zedernholz, Karmesinfäden und Ysop.	4 the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds and cedarwood and scarlet stuff and hyssop;
5 Dann soll der Priester die Anweisung geben, daß man den einen Vogel über einem irdenen Gefäß, das mit Quellwasser gefüllt ist, schlachte.	5 and the priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
6 Den andern noch lebenden Vogel sowie das Zedernholz, die Karmesinfäden und den Ysop nehme er und tauche sie samt dem lebenden Vogel in das Blut des über dem Quellwasser geschlachteten Vogels.	6 He shall take the living bird with the cedarwood and the scarlet stuff and the hyssop, and dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water;
7 Dann soll er den vom Aussatz zu Reinigenden siebenmal besprengen und ihn so reinigen; den lebenden Vogel aber lasse er ins freie Feld fliegen.	7 and he shall sprinkle it seven times upon him who is to be cleansed of leprosy; then he shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.
8 Der zu Reinigende wasche seine Kleider, schere sein gesamtes Haar und bade sich in Wasser; dann wird er rein sein. Danach kehre er ins Lager zurück, muß aber noch sieben Tage außerhalb seines Zeltes bleiben.	8 And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean; and after that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.
9 Am siebten Tage sodann soll er nochmals sein gesamtes Haar scheren, Kopf, Bart und Augenbrauen, sein gesamtes Haar also soll er scheren, seine Kleider waschen und seinen Leib in Wasser baden, so wird er rein sein.	9 And on the seventh day he shall shave all his hair off his head; he shall shave off his beard and his eyebrows, all his hair. Then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe his body in water, and he shall be clean.
10 Am achten Tage aber nehme er zwei fehlerlose Lämmer und ein einjähriges, fehlerloses weibliches Lamm und als Speiseopfer drei Zehntel Epha Mehl, das mit Öl angerührt ist, und ein Log Öl.	10 "And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, and one log of oil.
11 Der Priester aber, der die Reinigung vollzieht, soll den zu reinigenden Mann und diese Dinge vor den Herrn hinstellen an den Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes.	11 And the priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed and these things before the LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting.
12 Dann nehme der Priester das eine Lamm und bringe es zusammen mit dem Log Öl als Schuldopfer dar; er schwinge sie weihend vor dem Herrn hin und her.	12 And the priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer it for a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD;
13 Jetzt schlachte man das Lamm da, wo man das Sünd und Brandopfer schlachtet, an heiliger Stätte; denn wie das Sündopfer, so gehört auch das Schuldopfer dem Priester, etwas Hochheiliges ist es.	13 and he shall kill the lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place; for the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
14 Dann nehme der Priester von dem Blut des Schuldopfers und bestreiche damit das rechte Ohrläppchen des zu Reinigenden, den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes.	14 The priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
15 Daraufhin nehme der Priester von dem Log Öl und gieße es in seine eigene linke Hand.	15 Then the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand,
16 Er tauche seinen rechten Zeigefinger in das Öl in seiner linken Hand und sprenge davon mit seinem Zeigefinger siebenmal vor dem Herrn.	16 and dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and sprinkle some oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.
17 Von dem übrigen Öl in seiner Hand streiche der Priester dem zu Reinigenden an das rechte Ohrläppchen, an den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und an die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes, auf das Blut des Schuldopfers.	17 And some of the oil that remains in his hand the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the guilt offering;
18 Das Öl, das in der hohlen Hand des Priesters noch übrig ist, gebe er auf das Haupt des zu Reinigenden; so verschaffe er ihm Sühne vor dem Herrn.	18 and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. Then the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD.
19 Dann richte der Priester das Sündopfer her; er entsühne den zu Reinigenden von seiner Unreinheit und schlachte danach das Brandopfer.	19 The priest shall offer the sin offering, to make atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. And afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;
20 Der Priester soll das Brand- und Speiseopfer auf dem Altar darbringen; so schafft er Sühne für ihn, und jener wird rein.	20 and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the cereal offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
21 Ist jemand arm und reicht sein Vermögen nicht hin, dann nehme er ein Lamm als Schuldopfer zur Weihegabe, damit man ihm Sühne verschaffe, und ein Zehntel Epha Mehl, angerührt in Öl, als Speiseopfer und ein Log Öl,	21 "But if he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, and a log of oil;
22 ferner zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben, was er eben aufbringt; die eine dient zum Sündopfer, die andere zum Brandopfer.	22 also two turtledoves or two young pigeons, such as he can afford; the one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
23 Am achten Tag nach seiner Reinigung bringe er sie zum Priester an den Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes vor den Herrn.	23 And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting, before the LORD;
24 Der Priester nehme das Schuldopferlamm und das Log Öl und schwinge beides als Weihegabe vor dem Herrn hin und her.	24 and the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.
25 Man schlachte das Schuldopferlamm, und der Priester nehme von dem Blut des Schuldopfers und streiche davon an das rechte Ohrläppchen des zu Reinigenden, an den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und an die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes.	25 And he shall kill the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
26 Dann gieße er von dem Öl in seine eigene linke Hand.	26 And the priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;
27 Er sprenge mit seinem rechten Zeigefinger von dem Öl in seiner linken Hand siebenmal vor dem Herrn.	27 and shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD;
28 Dann streiche der Priester von dem Öl in seiner Hand an das rechte Ohrläppchen des zu Reinigenden, an den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und an die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes, an die Stelle des Schuldopferblutes.	28 and the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and the great toe of his right foot, in the place where the blood of the guilt offering was put;
29 Was vom Öl in der hohlen Hand des Priesters noch übrig ist, gebe er auf das Haupt des zu Reinigenden, um ihm vor dem Herrn Sühne zu verschaffen.	29 and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD.
30 Nun richte er die eine von den Turteltauben oder von den jungen Tauben, wozu sein Vermögen reichte, her,	30 And he shall offer, of the turtledoves or young pigeons such as he can afford,
31 die eine als Sündopfer, die andere als Brandopfer nebst dem Speiseopfer; so verschaffe der Priester dem zu Reinigenden Sühne vor dem Herrn.	31 one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, along with a cereal offering; and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who is being cleansed.
32 Dies ist das Gesetz für den vom Aussatz Befallene, dessen Vermögen zu seiner Reinigung nicht ausreicht."	32 This is the law for him in whom is a leprous disease, who cannot afford the offerings for his cleansing."
33 Dann sprach der Herr zu Moses und Aaron:	33 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
34 "Wenn ihr nun in das Land Kanaan kommt, das ich euch zu eigen geben will, und ich lasse an einem Haus in eurem eigenen Lande einen Befall von Aussatz zu,	34 "When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a leprous disease in a house in the land of your possession,
35 so muß der Eigentümer des Hauses hingehen und dem Priester melden: "Wie von Aussatz befallen erscheint mir das Haus."	35 then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, 'There seems to me to be some sort of disease in my house.'
36 Dann ordne der Priester an, daß man das Haus räume, bevor er kommt, den Fall zu besichtigen. Auf diese Weise braucht nicht alles im Hause für unrein erklärt zu werden; danach komme der Priester, das Haus zu besichtigen.	36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes to examine the disease, lest all that is in the house be declared unclean; and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house.
37 Wenn er nun den Befall besichtigt und dabei findet, der Befall an den Wänden des Hauses zeige sich in Gestalt grünlicher oder rötlicher Grübchen, die tiefer zu liegen scheinen als die Wandfläche,	37 And he shall examine the disease; and if the disease is in the walls of the house with greenish or reddish spots, and if it appears to be deeper than the surface,
38 dann gehe der Priester aus dem Haus heraus an dessen Eingang und schließe es für sieben Tage ab.	38 then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
39 Am siebten Tage komme der Priester wieder, und wenn er bei der Besichtigung findet, daß der Befall an den Wänden des Hauses sich ausgebreitet hat,	39 And the priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look; and if the disease has spread in the walls of the house,
40 so ordne er an, daß man die betreffenden Steine herausreiße und sie vor der Stadt an einen unreinen Ort werfe.	40 then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the disease and throw them into an unclean place outside the city;
41 Das Haus aber soll man ringsum im Innern abkratzen und den abgekratzten Schmutz draußen vor der Stadt an einen unreinen Ort schütten.	41 and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped round about, and the plaster that they scrape off they shall pour into an unclean place outside the city;
42 Dann nehme man andere Steine und setze sie an Stelle der ausgebrochenen, ebenso anderen Lehm und streiche damit das Haus.	42 then they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones, and he shall take other plaster and plaster the house.
43 Wenn nun der Aussatz von neuem auftritt, nachdem man die Steine ausgebrochen, das Haus abgekratzt und neu gestrichen hat,	43 "If the disease breaks out again in the house, after he has taken out the stones and scraped the house and plastered it,
44 gehe der Priester hinein, besichtige es, und wenn sich der Aussatz im Hause ausgebreitet hat, dann ist es ein bösartiger Aussatz; es ist unrein.	44 then the priest shall go and look; and if the disease has spread in the house, it is a malignant leprosy in the house; it is unclean.
45 Man soll das Haus abbrechen, seine Steine, seine Balken und den ganzen Lehmbewurf des Hauses, und alles an einen unreinen Ort außerhalb der Siedlung bringen.	45 And he shall break down the house, its stones and timber and all the plaster of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city to an unclean place.
46 Wer das Haus während der ganzen Zeit, für die er es verschlossen hatte, betritt, ist unrein bis zum Abend.	46 Moreover he who enters the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening;
47 Wer in dem Hause schläft, wasche seine Kleider; wer darin ißt, wasche ebenfalls seine Kleider.	47 and he who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
48 Wenn aber der Priester kommt und bei der Besichtigung findet, daß der Aussatz sich im Hause nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat, nachdem das Haus von neuem gestrichen wurde, so erkläre er das Haus für rein; denn der Aussatz ist geheilt.	48 "But if the priest comes and makes an examination, and the disease has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, for the disease is healed.
49 Zur Entsühnung des Hauses soll er zwei Vögel, Zedernholz, Karmesinfäden und Ysop nehmen.	49 And for the cleansing of the house he shall take two small birds, with cedarwood and scarlet stuff and hyssop,
50 Er schlachte den einen Vogel über einem irdenen Gefäß mit Quellwasser.	50 and shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water,
51 Dann nehme er das Zedernholz, den Ysop, die Karmesinfäden und den lebenden Vogel und tauche alles in das Blut des geschlachteten Vogels und in das Quellwasser und besprenge das Haus damit siebenmal.	51 and shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet stuff, along with the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
52 So soll er das Haus mit dem Vogelblut, dem fließenden Wasser, dem lebenden Vogel, dem Zedernholz, dem Ysop und den Karmesinfäden entsündigen.	52 Thus he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet stuff;
53 Den lebenden Vogel aber lasse er zur Stadt hinaus aufs freie Feld fliegen. So schaffe er Sühne für das Haus, und es ist rein.	53 and he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field; so he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean."
54 Dies ist das Gesetz über jeglichen Befall von Aussatz, über die Krätze,	54 This is the law for any leprous disease: for an itch,
55 über den Aussatz an Kleidern und Häusern,	55 for leprosy in a garment or in a house,
56 über Ausschlag, Grind und weiße Flecken,	56 and for a swelling or an eruption or a spot,
57 um zu belehren, wann etwas unrein oder rein ist. Das ist das Gesetz über den Aussatz."	57 to show when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law for leprosy.
