1 [Von David.] Ich rufe dich an, Herr, mein Fels! Sei gegen mich nicht taub, damit du dich nicht schweigend von mir wendest und ich wie jene werde, die zur Grube sanken!	1 A Psalm of David, at the completion of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O sons of God, bring to the Lord the sons of rams.
2 Höre auf mein lautes Flehen, da ich zu dir um Hilfe rufe, da ich meine Hände hebe zu deinem Allerheiligsten im Tempel!	2 Bring to the Lord, glory and honor. Bring to the Lord, glory for his name. Adore the Lord in his holy court.
3 Raffe mich nicht mit den Frevlern hin und mit den Übeltätern, die freundlich zwar mit ihren Nächsten reden, jedoch im Herzen Böses sinnen!	3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters. The God of majesty has thundered. The Lord is over many waters.
4 Vergilt ihnen nach ihrem Tun und nach der Bosheit ihres Handelns! Gib ihnen nach dem Werke ihrer Hände, zahle ihnen heim, was sie verdient!	4 The voice of the Lord is in virtue. The voice of the Lord is in magnificence.
5 Denn sie achten nicht auf das Tun des Herrn und auf das Werk seiner Hände. Er reißt sie nieder und baut sie nicht mehr auf.	5 The voice of the Lord shatters the cedars. And the Lord will shatter the cedars of Lebanon.
6 Gepriesen sei der Herr; denn er hat mein lautes Flehen erhört!	6 And it will break them into pieces, like a calf of Lebanon, and in the same way as the beloved son of the single-horned beast.
7 Der Herr ist meine Stärke und mein Schild; auf ihn vertraut mein Herz. Hilfe wurde mir zuteil; darüber jauchzt mein Herz, und mit meinem Lied will ich ihm danken.	7 The voice of the Lord cuts through the flame of fire.
8 Seines Volkes Stärke ist der Herr, eine rettende Schutzwehr seinem Gesalbten.	8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert. And the Lord will quake the desert of Kadesh.
9 Hilf deinem Volk und segne dein Erbe! Weide und hege sie immerdar!	9 The voice of the Lord is preparing the stags, and he will reveal the dense woods. And in his temple, all will speak his glory.
	10 The Lord causes the great flood to dwell. And the Lord will sit as King in eternity.
	11 The Lord will give virtue to his people. The Lord will bless his people in peace.
