Leviticus 22

NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Matos Soares
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Falou também o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
2 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites andmust not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.	2 Dize a Aarão e a seus filhos que se abstenham das coisas que (me foram) consagradas pelos filhos de Israel, e não profanem o nome das coisas santificadas em minha honra, que eles me oferecem. Eu sou o Senhor.
3 Say to them: "Any one of your descendants, for al time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches theholy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, wil be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.	3 Dize-lhes a eles e a seus descendentes: Todo o homem da vossa estirpe que, tendo qualquer impureza, se aproximar das coisas que os filhos de Israel consagraram e ofereceram ao Senhor, será retirado da minha presença. Eu sou o Senhor.
4 "Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holythings until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminaldischarge,	4 Um homem da estirpe de Aarão, que for leproso ou doente de gonorreia, não comerá das coisas que me foram santificadas, até que esteja são. O que tocar um homem impuro, ou que tiver um derramamento seminal,
5 or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with hisown uncleanness, be it what it may,	5 ou que tocar um réptil e qualquer coisa impura, cujo contacto é impuro,
6 in short, anyone who has had any such contact wil be unclean until evening, and must not eat holythings until he has washed his body.	6 será impuro até à tarde, e não comerá daquelas coisas que foram santificadas; porém, depois que tiver lavado o seu corpo em água,
7 At sunset he wil be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.	7 e se tiver posto o sol, então, estando puro, comerá das coisas santificadas, porque são seu alimento.
8 "He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contractuncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.	8 Não comerão dum animal morto por si, ou dilacerado por outro; não se mancharão com estas coisas. Eu sou o Senhor.
9 "They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incurdeath; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.	9 Observem os meus mandamentos para que não caiam em pecado, e não morram no santuário, depois de o terem profanado. Eu sou o Senhor que os santifico,
10 "No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.	10 Nenhum estrangeiro comerá das coisas santificadas; nem o que habita em casa do sacerdote, nem o jornaleiro comerão delas;
11 But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in hishousehold; they will share his food.	11 porém, o escravo, comprado por um sacerdote, e o que tiver nascido em sua casa, estes comerão delas.
12 "If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,	12 Se a filha do sacerdote casar com algum homem do povo não comerá das coisas santificadas nem das primícias;
13 but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house aswhen she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;	13 nem se, ficando viúva, ou sendo repudiada, e sem filhos, voltar para casa de seu pai, comerá do que seu pai come, como costumava fazer sendo donzela. Nenhum estrangeiro tem faculdade de comer delas.
14 anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, wil restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.	14 O que por ignorância comer das coisas santificadas, dará ao sacerdote o (valor do) que comeu, mais uma quinta parte.
15 "They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.	15 Os sacerdotes não profanarão as coisas santificadas dos filhos de Israel, que estes oferecem ao Senhor.
16 By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings." '	16 Não sofrerão a pena do seu delito, comendo das coisas santificadas. Eu sou o Senhor que os santifico.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo:
18 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to al the Israelites and say: "Any member of the House of Israel orany alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers itas a burnt offering to Yahweh,	18 Fala a Aarão, a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: O homem da casa de Israel, ou de entre os estrangeiros que habitam entre vós, que fizer a oblação, ou para cumprimento de votos, ou para oferta espontânea de qualquer vítima em holocausto ao Senhor,
19 must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bul or sheep or goat.	19 para que seja oferecida por vós, oferecerá um macho sem defeito, dentre os bois, ovelhas ou cabras.
20 You wil not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.	20 Se tiver qualquer defeito, não oferecereis nem será aceite.
21 "If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, theanimal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.	21 O homem que oferecer ao Senhor uma vítima de gado graúdo ou miúdo, em sacrifício pacífico, quer para cumprimento de votos, quer como oferta espontânea, oferecerá um animal perfeito, para que seja agradável; não haverá nele nenhum defeito.
22 You wil not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered insores. No part of such an animal wil be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.	22 Se for cego, estropiado, mutilado, ulcerado, sarnento ou tinhoso, não o oferecereis ao Senhor, nem o queimareis sobre o altar do Senhor.
23 As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bul or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but suchwil not be acceptable in payment of a vow.	23 Poderás oferecer como oferta voluntária um boi ou uma ovelha com um membro comprido ou curto demais, mas com eles não se pode cumprir um voto.
24 You wil not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. Youmay not do that in your country,	24 Não oferecereis ao Senhor animal algum que tenha os testículos trilhados, ou esmagados, ou cortados, ou arrancados; de nenhum modo façais isto na vossa terra.
25 and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God.Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable." '	25 Não oferecereis ao vosso Deus tais vítimas (recebidas) da mão dum estrangeiro, nem qualquer outra coisa que ele queira dar, porque todos estes dons são corruptos e impuros: não os aceitareis.
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo:
27 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth dayonwards, it wil be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.	27 O bezerro, o cordeiro ou o cabrito, quando nascerem, estarão sete dias mamando debaixo da mãe: ao oitavo dia, e daí por diante, poderão ser oferecidos ao Senhor.
28 But no animal, whether cow or ewe, wil be slaughtered on the same day as its young.	28 Quer se trate dum boi, ou duma ovelha, não serão imolados no mesmo dia com as suas crias.
29 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;	29 Se oferecerdes um sacrifício em acção de graças ao Senhor, oferecei-o de maneira que seja agradável (ao Senhor);
30 it must be eaten the same day; you wil leave nothing over til next morning. I am Yahweh.	30 comereis a vítima no mesmo dia, e não ficará coisa alguma para a manhã do dia seguinte. Eu sou o Senhor.
31 'You wil keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.	31 Guardai os meus mandamentos, ponde-os em prática. Eu sou o Senhor.
32 You wil not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I,Yahweh, who make you holy,	32 Não profaneis o meu santo nome, para que eu seja santificado no meio dos filhos de Israel. Eu sou o Senhor que vos santifico
33 I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'	33 e vos tirei da terra do Egipto, para ser o vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.
