Leviticus 22

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Parlo Iddio a Moisè e dissegli:
2 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites andmust not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.	2 Parla ad Aaron e ai figliuoli suoi, che si guardino da quelle cose che hanno consecrate i figliuoli d'Israel, e non contaminino lo nome di quelle cose che santificarono a me, le quali mi offeriranno; però ch' io sono Iddio.
3 Say to them: "Any one of your descendants, for al time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches theholy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, wil be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.	3 Dillo a loro, e a quelli che vengono dopo loro: ogni uomo che anderà della gente vostra a quell cose le quali sono consecrate, e che i figliuoli d'Aaron hanno (offerte per monde e senza macula) a Dio, nello quale sarà immondizia, perirà in presenza di Dio. Io sono Iddio.
4 "Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holythings until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminaldischarge,	4 L'uomo che procede dalla stirpe d'Aaron e sarà leproso, ovver che avrà lo flusso del seme, non mangerà della oblazione del sacrificio, insino a tanto che sia sano. E chi (sarà colui che) toccherà sopra lo morto la cosa immonda, e quello che ha l'uscita del suo seme,
5 or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with hisown uncleanness, be it what it may,	5 e chi toccherà gli animali che si tirino sopra la terra, e toccherà cosa immonda della quale il tatto è immondo,
6 in short, anyone who has had any such contact wil be unclean until evening, and must not eat holythings until he has washed his body.	6 sarà immondo insino al vespro, e non mangerà di queste cose che saranno santificate; ma quando l'avrà lavato la sua carne coll'acqua,
7 At sunset he wil be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.	7 e quando il sole sarà declinato, sarà mondato; e allora mangerà del cibo santificato, perciò ch' egli è suo cibo.
8 "He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contractuncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.	8 La carne morta da sè, nè che sia presa da bestia, non mangeranno, acciò che non si maculino in essa. Io sono Iddio.
9 "They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incurdeath; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.	9 Guardino i comandamenti miei, e non si sottomettano al peccato, acciò che non muoiano nello santuario, quando l'averanno maculato. E io sono colui che gli santifico.
10 "No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.	10 Niuno forestiere mangerà cosa santificata. Lo servo del sacerdote e lo lavoratore non mangerà santificato.
11 But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in hishousehold; they will share his food.	11 Quello che il sacerdote comprerà, quello mangeranno; e così lo fanciullo, nutrito in casa, di quello viverà.
12 "If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,	12 Se la figliuola del sacerdote sarà maritata ad alcuno del popolo, non mangerà delle cose santificate (cioè date per offerta), ovver delle primizie.
13 but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house aswhen she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;	13 Ma se fosse vedova, o cacciata perchè fosse sterile, e tornerà alla casa del suo padre, come fanciulla usi delle sue cose. Ogni forestiere non abbi podestà di mangiare delle cose santificate.
14 anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, wil restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.	14 E se per ignoranza ne mangiassero, sopra quello che ne mangerà ne porrà la quinta parte; e darallo al prete nel santuario.
15 "They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.	15 E non contamineranno le cose santificate degli figliuoli d'Israel, le quali offerono a Dio,
16 By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings." '	16 acciò che forse non sostengano la iniquitade del loro peccato, quando mangeranno le cose santificate. Io son Iddio che santifico loro.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e dissegli:
18 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to al the Israelites and say: "Any member of the House of Israel orany alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers itas a burnt offering to Yahweh,	18 Parla ad Aaron e ' a' suoi figliuoli, e a tutto il popolo d'Israel, e di' loro: l'uomo d'Israel, e chi sarae fra voi forestiere, e offerirà la sua oblazione o per voto, o per sua spontanea volontà, o in qualunque modo egli fae sacrificio,
19 must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bul or sheep or goat.	19 faccia che sia maschio, senza macola, o di pecore o di buoi o di capre.
20 You wil not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.	20 E se avesse macola nessuna, non la offerrete; però che non sarebbe accettabile.
21 "If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, theanimal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.	21 L'uomo che offerirà animale per sacrificio pacifico al Signore, ovver satisfacendo per voto, ovver offerendo per sua volontà, così di buoi come di pecore, Offerilo immacolato, acciò che sia accettabile; e (chiunque offerrà di questi animali) faccia che sia senza macola; (e allora sarà accettabile a Dio).
22 You wil not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered insores. No part of such an animal wil be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.	22 E s'egli fosse o cieco o zoppo, o avesse segno di ferita, o avesse bruschi rossi suso la pelle, o fosse rognoso di rogna continua o secca, non l'offerite al Signore; nè arderete (in sacrificio) di quello sopra l'altare del Signore.
23 As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bul or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but suchwil not be acceptable in payment of a vow.	23 Lo bue e la pecora, che avesse tagliata la coda ovver l'orecchia, per volontà (senza obligo) si puote offerire, ma non per voto.
24 You wil not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. Youmay not do that in your country,	24 Ogni animale, che avesse i testicoli tonduti, ovver percossi, ovver tagliati e tolti fuori, non offerrete a Dio; e nella vostra terra per niuna cagione questo si faccia.
25 and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God.Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable." '	25 Di mano del forestiere non offerite lo pane a Dio vostro, o cosa niuna che dare vi volesse, però che sono tutte immonde e corrotte; e perciò non [le] pigliate.
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Parlò Iddio a Moise, e dissegli:
27 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth dayonwards, it wil be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.	27 Lo bue e la pecora e la capra, quando faranno i loro figliuoli, istaranno alla poppa loro sette dì (innanzi che si possa offerire per lo sacrificio). Nello ottavo die, e da indi innanzi, si potranno offerire.
28 But no animal, whether cow or ewe, wil be slaughtered on the same day as its young.	28 Ovver quelli animali siano buoi ovver pecore, non si sacrificheranno in uno dì con quelli che hanno partorito.
29 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;	29 Se vorrete offerire a Dio per referirli grazia, acciò che vi sia piacevole,
30 it must be eaten the same day; you wil leave nothing over til next morning. I am Yahweh.	30 in quello dì che l'offerite, tutta la mange rete, sì che nel secondo die non rimanga nulla. Io Signore (lo dico).
31 'You wil keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.	31 Guardate e osservate li miei comandamenti; però ch' io sono Iddio.
32 You wil not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I,Yahweh, who make you holy,	32 Non polluate il nome mio santo, anzi lo santificate nel mezzo (del popolo) de' figliuoli d'Israel; e io sono Iddio che santifico voi.
33 I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'	33 E hovvi (levati e) tratti della terra d'Egitto, acciò che vi fossi Iddio. Io Signore (ho parlato).
