NEW JERUSALEMKING JAMES BIBLE
You who live in the secret place of Elyon, spend your nights in the shelter of Shaddai,1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
saying to Yahweh, 'My refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust!'2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
He rescues you from the snare of the fowler set on destruction;3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
he covers you with his pinions, you find shelter under his wings. His constancy is shield andprotection.4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
You need not fear the terrors of night, the arrow that flies in the daytime,5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
the plague that stalks in the darkness, the scourge that wreaks havoc at high noon.6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Though a thousand fal at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, you yourself wil remainunscathed.7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
You have only to keep your eyes open to see how the wicked are repaid,8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
you who say, 'Yahweh my refuge!' and make Elyon your fortress.9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
No disaster can overtake you, no plague come near your tent;10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
he has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go.11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They will carry you in their arms in case you trip over a stone.12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
You wil walk upon wild beast and adder, you wil trample young lions and snakes.13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
'Since he clings to me I rescue him, I raise him high, since he acknowledges my name.14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He cal s to me and I answer him: in distress I am at his side, I rescue him and bring him honour.15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
I shal satisfy him with long life, and grant him to see my salvation.'16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
