Isaiah 52

1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your glorious garments, O Jerusalem, holy city. No longer shall the uncircumcised or the unclean enter you.	1 ¡Despierta, despierta! ¡Revístete de tu fortaleza, Sión! ¡Vístete tus ropas de gala, Jerusalén, Ciudad Santa! Porque no volverán a entrar en ti incircuncisos ni impuros.
2 Shake off the dust, ascend to the throne, Jerusalem; Loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter Zion!	2 Sacúdete el polvo, levántate, cautiva Jerusalén, Líbrate de las ligaduras de tu cerviz, cautiva hija de Sión.
3 For thus says the LORD: You were sold for nothing, and without money you shall be redeemed.	3 Porque así dice Yahveh: De balde fuisteis vendidos, y sin plata seréis rescatados.
4 Thus says the Lord GOD: To Egypt in the beginning my people went down, to sojourn there; Assyria, too, oppressed them for nought.	4 Sí, así dice el Señor Yahveh: A Egipto bajó mi pueblo en un principio, a ser forastero allí, y luego Asiria le oprimió sin motivo.
5 But now, what am I to do here? says the LORD. My people have been taken away without redress; their rulers make a boast of it, says the LORD; all the day my name is constantly reviled.	5 Y ahora, ¿qué voy a hacer aquí - oráculo de Yahveh - pues mi pueblo ha sido arrebatado sin motivo? Sus dominadores profieren gritos - oráculo de Yahveh - y todo a lo largo del día mi nombre es blasfemado.
6 Therefore on that day my people shall know my renown, that it is I who have foretold it. Here I am!	6 Por eso mi pueblo conocerá mi nombre en aquel día y comprenderá que yo soy el que decía: «Aquí estoy».
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, "Your God is King!"	7 ¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes los pies del mensajero que anuncia la paz, que trae buenas nuevas, que anuncia salvación, que dice a Sión: «Ya reina tu Dios!»
8 Hark! Your watchmen raise a cry, together they shout for joy, For they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion.	8 ¡Una voz! Tus vigías alzan la voz, a una dan gritos de júbilo, porque con sus propios ojos ven el retorno de Yahveh a Sión.
9 Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem.	9 Prorrumpid a una en gritos de júbilo, soledades de Jerusalén, porque ha consolado Yahveh a su pueblo, ha rescatado a Jerusalén.
10 The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.	10 Ha desnudado Yahveh su santo brazo a los ojos de todas las naciones, y han visto todos los cabos de la tierra la salvación de nuestro Dios.
11 Depart, depart, come forth from there, touch nothing unclean! Out from there! Purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD.	11 ¡Apartaos, apartaos, salid de allí! ¡Cosa impura no toquéis! ¡Salid de en medio de ella, manteneos limpios, portadores del ajuar de Yahveh!
12 Yet not in fearful haste will you come out, nor leave in headlong flight, For the LORD comes before you, and your rear guard is the God of Israel.	12 Pues sin prisa habréis de salir, no iréis a la desbandada, que va al frente de vosotros Yahveh, y os cierra la retaguardia el Dios de Israel.
13 See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted.	13 He aquí que prosperará mi Siervo, será enaltecido, levantado y ensalzado sobremanera.
14 Even as many were amazed at him-- so marred was his look beyond that of man, and his appearance beyond that of mortals--	14 Así como se asombraron de él muchos - pues tan desfigurado tenía el aspecto que no parecía hombre, ni su apariencia era humana -
15 So shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechless; For those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it.	15 otro tanto se admirarán muchas naciones; ante él cerrarán los reyes la boca, pues lo que nunca se les contó verán, y lo que nunca oyeron reconocerán.
