1 Praise. Of David. I will extol you, my God and king; I will bless your name forever.	1 Laudes. David. ALEPH. Exaltabo te, Deus meus, rex, et benedicam nomini tuo in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.
2 Every day I will bless you; I will praise your name forever.	2 BETH. Per singulos dies benedicam tibi et laudabo nomen tuum in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.
3 Great is the LORD and worthy of high praise; God's grandeur is beyond understanding.	3 GHIMEL. Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, et magnitudinis eius non est investigatio.
4 One generation praises your deeds to the next and proclaims your mighty works.	4 DALETH. Generatio generationi laudabit opera tua, et potentiam tuam pronuntiabunt.
5 They speak of the splendor of your majestic glory, tell of your wonderful deeds.	5 HE. Magnificentiam gloriae maiestatis tuae loquentur et mirabilia tua enarrabunt.
6 They speak of your fearsome power and attest to your great deeds.	6 VAU. Et virtutem terribilium tuorum dicent et magnitudinem tuam narrabunt.
7 They publish the renown of your abounding goodness and joyfully sing of your justice.	7 ZAIN. Memoriam abundantiae suavitatis tuae eructabunt et iustitia tua exsultabunt.
8 The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in love.	8 HETH. Miserator et misericors Dominus, longanimis et multae misericordiae.
9 The LORD is good to all, compassionate to every creature.	9 TETH. Suavis Dominus universis, et miserationes eius super omnia opera eius.
10 All your works give you thanks, O LORD and your faithful bless you.	10 IOD. Confiteantur tibi, Domine, omnia opera tua; et sancti tui benedicant tibi.
11 They speak of the glory of your reign and tell of your great works,	11 CAPH. Gloriam regni tui dicant et potentiam tuam loquantur,
12 Making known to all your power, the glorious splendor of your rule.	12 LAMED. ut notas faciant filiis hominum potentias tuas et gloriam magnificentiae regni tui.
13 Your reign is a reign for all ages, your dominion for all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in every word, and faithful in every work.	13 MEM. Regnum tuum regnum omnium saeculorum, et dominatio tua in omnem generationem et generationem. NUN. Fidelis Dominus in omnibus verbis suis et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
14 The LORD supports all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.	14 SAMECH. Allevat Dominus omnes, qui corruunt, et erigit omnes depressos.
15 The eyes of all look hopefully to you; you give them their food in due season.	15 AIN. Oculi omnium in te sperant, et tu das illis escam in tempore opportuno.
16 You open wide your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.	16 PHE. Aperis tu manum tuam et imples omne animal in beneplacito.
17 You, LORD, are just in all your ways, faithful in all your works.	17 SADE. Iustus Dominus in omnibus viis suis et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
18 You, LORD, are near to all who call upon you, to all who call upon you in truth.	18 COPH. Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum, omnibus invocantibus eum in veritate.
19 You satisfy the desire of those who fear you; you hear their cry and save them.	19 RES. Voluntatem timentium se faciet et deprecationem eorum exaudiet et salvos faciet eos.
20 You, LORD, watch over all who love you, but all the wicked you destroy.	20 SIN. Custodit Dominus omnes diligentes se et omnes peccatores disperdet.
21 My mouth will speak your praises, LORD; all flesh will bless your holy name forever.	21 TAU. Laudationem Domini loquetur os meum, et benedicat omnis caro nomini sancto eius in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.
