NEW AMERICAN BIBLEKING JAMES BIBLE
Of David. I thank you, LORD, with all my heart; before the gods to you I sing.1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
I bow low toward your holy temple; I praise your name for your fidelity and love. For you have exalted over all your name and your promise.2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
When I cried out, you answered; you strengthened my spirit.3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
All the kings of earth will praise you, LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
They will sing of the ways of the LORD: "How great is the glory of the LORD!"5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
The LORD is on high, but cares for the lowly and knows the proud from afar.6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
Though I walk in the midst of dangers, you guard my life when my enemies rage. You stretch out your hand; your right hand saves me.7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
The LORD is with me to the end. LORD, your love endures forever. Never forsake the work of your hands!8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
