1 Dann kam das zweite Los heraus für Simeon, für die Geschlechter des Stammes der Simeoniten; und zwar lag ihr Erbteil mitten im Erbbesitz der Judäer.	1 And the second lot went out, for the sons of Simeon by their families. And their inheritance was,
2 Es wurde ihnen aber als ihr Erbbesitz zuteil: Beerseba, Seba, Molada,	2 in the midst of the possession of the sons of Judah: Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
3 Hazar-Sual, Bala, Ezem,	3 and Hazar-shual, Balah, and Ezem,
4 Eltholad, Bethul, Horma,	4 and Eltolad, Bethul, and Hormah,
5 Ziklag, Beth-Markaboth, Hazar-Susa,	5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 Beth-Lebaoth und Saruhen: 13 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	6 and Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities, and their villages;
7 Ferner Ain, Rimmon, Ether und Asan: 4 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern;	7 Ain and Enrimmon, and Ether and Ashan: four cities, and their villages;
8 außerdem alle Dörfer, die rings um diese Städte liegen bis nach Baalath-Beer, dem Rama des Südlandes. Dies ist der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Simeon.	8 all villages around these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, the high place facing the southern region. This is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, according to their families,
9 Von dem Anteil der Judäer war der Erbbesitz der Simeoniten genommen; denn der Anteil der Judäer war für diese zu groß; daher erhielten die Simeoniten ihren Erbbesitz mitten in deren Besitztum.	9 within the possession and lot of the sons of Judah, which was greater. And for this reason, the sons of Simeon had a possession in the midst of their inheritance.
10 Hierauf kam das dritte Los heraus für die Geschlechter des Stammes Sebulon; und die Grenze ihres Erbbesitzes reichte bis Sarid.	10 And the third lot fell to the sons of Zebulun, by their families; and the limit of their possession was set as far as Sarid.
11 Ihre Grenze geht aber westwärts hinauf, und zwar nach Marala hin, berührt Dabbeseth und stößt an den Bach, der östlich von Jokneam fließt.	11 And it ascends from the sea and from Mareal. And it passes on to Dabbesheth, as far as the torrent, which is opposite Jokneam.
12 Aber auf der östlichen Seite von Sarid, gegen Sonnenaufgang, wendet sie sich nach dem Gebiet von Kisloth-Thabor, geht weiter nach Daberath, zieht sich aufwärts nach Japhia,	12 And it turns back from Sarid, to the east, to the end of Chisloth-tabor. And it goes out to Daberath, and it ascends opposite Japhia.
13 läuft von da ostwärts, gegen Sonnenaufgang, nach Gath-Hepher, nach Eth-Kazin hinüber, läuft aus bei Rimmon und erstreckt sich nach Nea hin;	13 And from there, it continues to the eastern region of Gathhepher and Ethkazin. And goes out to Rimmon, Amthar, and Neah.
14 dann zieht sich die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung um dasselbe herum nördlich von Hannathon und erreicht ihr Ende im Tal von Jiphthah-El.	14 And it circles to the north at Hannathon. And its exits are at the Valley of Iphtahel;
15 … und Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jidala und Bethlehem: 12 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities, and their villages.
16 Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Sebulon: die genannten Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	16 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, the cities and their villages.
17 Für Issaschar kam das vierte Los heraus, für die Geschlechter der Issaschariten.	17 The fourth lot went out to Issachar, by their families.
18 Ihr Gebiet erstreckte sich über Jesreel, Kesulloth, Sunem,	18 And his inheritance was: Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 Hapharaim, Sion, Anaharath,	19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 Rabbith, Kisjon, Ebez,	20 and Rabbith and Kishion, Ebez

22 Die Grenze berührt Thabor, Sahazima und Beth-Semes, und ihre Grenze endet am Jordan: 16 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	22 And its limit reaches to Tabor and Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh; and its exits shall be at the Jordan: sixteen cities, and their villages.
23 Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes der Issaschariten: die Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	23 This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Dann kam das fünfte Los heraus für die Geschlechter des Stammes Asser.	24 And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
25 Ihr Gebiet umfaßte Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achsaph,	25 And their border was: Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 Allammelech, Amgad und Miseal und stößt westwärts an den Karmel und an den Sihor von Libnath.	26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal. And it extends even to Carmel by the sea, and Shihor, and Libnath.
27 Sodann wendet sich die Grenze ostwärts nach Beth-Dagon, berührt Sebulon und das Tal Jiphthah-El im Norden, dann Beth-Emek und Negiel und setzt sich nordwärts fort nach Kabul,	27 And it turns back toward the east at Bethdagon. And it continues on as far as Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtahel, toward the north, at Beth-emek and Neiel. And it goes out to the left of Cabul,
28 Ebron, Rehob, Hammon und Kana bis zu der großen Stadt Sidon;	28 and to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as the great Sidon.
29 dann zieht die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung nach Rama und bis zu der festen Stadt Tyrus, sodann mit veränderter Richtung nach Hossa und endet am Meer. Mahaleb, Aksib,	29 And it turns back at Ramah, even to the very fortified city of Tyre, and even to Hosah. And its exits shall be at the sea, from the lot of Achzib;
30 Umma, Aphek und Rehob: 22 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities, and their villages.
31 Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Asser: die genannten Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	31 This is the possession of the sons of Asher, by their families, and the cities and their villages.
32 Für den Stamm Naphthali kam das sechste Los heraus, für die Geschlechter der Naphthaliten.	32 The sixth lot fell to the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
33 Ihre Grenze geht von Heleph, von der Eiche (oder: dem Eichenwald) bei Zaanannim, über Adami-Nekeb und Jabneel bis Lakkum und endet am Jordan;	33 And its border begins from Heleph and Elon, into Zaanannim, and Adami, which is Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum. And its exits are as far as the Jordan.
34 dann geht die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung westwärts nach Asnoth-Thabor, setzt sich fort nach Hukkok hin, berührt dann im Süden Sebulon, stößt im Westen an Asser und im Osten an den Jordan.	34 And the border turns back to the west at Aznoth-tabor, and it goes out from there to Hukkok. And continues on to Zebulun, in the south, and to Asher, in the west, and to Judah, at the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.
35 Die festen Städte waren: Ziddim, Zer und Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,	35 And the most fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer and Hammath, and Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 Adama, Rama, Hazor,	36 and Adamah and Ramah, Hazor
37 Kedes, Edrei, En-Hazor,	37 and Kedesh and Edrei, Enhazor
38 Jireon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath und Beth-Semes: 19 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	38 and Yiron and Migdalel, Horem and Bethanath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities, and their villages.
39 Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes der Naphthaliten: die Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.	39 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, the cities and their villages.
40 Für die Geschlechter des Stammes Dan kam das siebte Los heraus.	40 The seventh lot went out to the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families.
41 Das Gebiet ihres Erbteils umfaßte: Zorga, Esthaol, Ir-Semes,	41 And the border of their possession was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh, that is, the City of the Sun,
42 Saalabbin, Ajjalon, Jithla,	42 Sha-alabbin, and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
43 Elon, Thimnath, Ekron,	43 Elon, and Timnah, and Ekron,
44 Eltheke, Gibbethon, Baalath,	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon and Baalath,
45 Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,	45 and Jehud, and Bene and Berak, and Gath-Rimmon,
46 Me-Jarkon und Rakkon samt dem Gebiete gegen Japho hin.	46 and Mejarkon and Rakkon, with a border that looks toward Joppa,
47 Als das Gebiet den Daniten später zu enge wurde, zogen sie hinauf und bekriegten Lesem (Lais); und nachdem sie es erobert und die Einwohner mit der Schärfe des Schwertes niedergemacht hatten, nahmen sie es in Besitz, siedelten sich dort an und gaben Lesem den Namen »Dan« nach ihrem Stammvater Dan (vgl. Ri 18,27-29).	47 and there the last part is concluded. And the sons of Dan ascended and fought against Leshem, and they seized it. 49 Als nun die Israeliten mit der Verteilung des Landes nach seinem ganzen Umfang fertig waren, gaben sie Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, ein Besitztum in ihrer Mitte.	49 And when he had completed dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the sons of Israel gave a possession to Joshua, the son of Nun, in their midst,
50 Nach dem Befehl des HERRN gaben sie ihm die Stadt, die er sich erbeten hatte, nämlich Thimnath-Serah im Berglande Ephraim; er befestigte dann die Stadt und ließ sich in ihr nieder.	50 in accord with the precept of the Lord, the city he requested, Timnath-Serah, on mount Ephraim. And he built up the city, and he lived in it.
51 Dies sind die Erbteile, die der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Stammeshäupter der Israeliten in Silo vor dem HERRN am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes durch das Los verteilten.	51 These are the possessions which Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the leaders of the families and tribes of the sons of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh, before the Lord, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. And so did they divide the land.
