1 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Mose:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 »Folgende Verordnungen sollst du den Israeliten mitteilen: Wenn ihr in das Land Kanaan kommt, so soll dies das Gebiet sein, das euch als Erbbesitz zufällt: das Land Kanaan in seinem ganzen Umfang.	2 "Give the Israelites this order: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the territory that shall fall to you as your heritage--the land of Canaan with its boundaries:
3 Und zwar soll die Südseite sich euch von der Wüste Zin an, Edom entlang, hinziehen, so daß eure Südgrenze im Osten am (südlichen) Ende des Salzmeeres beginnt.	3 "Your southern boundary shall be at the desert of Zin along the border of Edom; on the east it shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea,
4 Dann soll eure Grenze südlich vom Skorpionenstieg umbiegen und sich nach Zin hinüberziehen, wo sie südlich von Kades-Barnea endigt; von dort soll sie weiter nach Hazar-Addar hin laufen und nach Azmon hinübergehen;	4 and turning south of the Akrabbim Pass, it shall cross Zin, and extend south of Kadesh-barnea to Hazar-addar; thence it shall cross to Azmon,
5 und von Azmon wende sich die Grenze nach dem Bach Ägyptens hin und endige nach dem Westmeer zu. –	5 and turning from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, shall terminate at the Sea.
6 Was sodann die Westgrenze betrifft, so gelte euch da das große Meer zugleich als Grenze; das soll eure Westgrenze sein. –	6 "For your western boundary you shall have the Great Sea with its coast; this shall be your western boundary.
7 Und folgendes soll eure Nordgrenze sein: vom großen Westmeer an sollt ihr euch eine Grenzlinie bis zum Berge Hor ziehen;	7 "The following shall be your boundary on the north: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to Mount Hor,
8 vom Berge Hor an sollt ihr euch eine Grenzlinie in der Richtung auf Hamath hin ziehen, und das Ende der Grenze soll nach Zedad hin sein;	8 and shall continue it from Mount Hor to Labo in the land of Hamath, with the boundary extending through Zedad.
9 dann laufe die Grenze weiter nach Siphron hin und erreiche ihr Ende bei Hazar-Enan. Das soll eure Nordgrenze sein. –	9 Thence the boundary shall reach to Ziphron and terminate at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.
10 Als Ostgrenze aber sollt ihr euch eine Linie von Hazar-Enan nach Sepham festsetzen;	10 "For your eastern boundary you shall draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
11 und von Sepham gehe die Grenze nach Ha-Ribla hinab östlich von Ain; dann ziehe sich die Grenze noch weiter hinab und stoße auf den Höhenzug östlich vom See Genezareth;	11 From Shepham the boundary shall go down to Ar-Baal, east of Ain, and descending further, shall strike the ridge on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth;
12 dann ziehe sich die Grenze den Jordan entlang hinab und erreiche ihr Ende am Salzmeer. Dies soll euer Land nach seinen Grenzen ringsum sein.«	12 thence the boundary shall continue along the Jordan and terminate with the Salt Sea. "This is the land that shall be yours, with the boundaries that surround it."
13 Mose gab dann den Israeliten folgende Weisung: »Dies ist das Land, das ihr euch durchs Los als euren Erbbesitz zuteilen sollt und das der HERR den neun Stämmen und dem halben Stamm (Manasse) zu geben geboten hat.	13 Moses also gave this order to the Israelites: "This is the land, to be apportioned among you by lot, which the LORD has commanded to be given to the nine and one half tribes.
14 Denn alle zu den beiden Stämmen Ruben und Gad gehörenden Familien und der halbe Stamm Manasse haben ihren Erbbesitz bereits empfangen.	14 For all the ancestral houses of the tribe of Reuben, and the ancestral houses of the tribe of Gad, as well as half of the tribe of Manasseh, have already received their heritage;
15 Diese zweieinhalb Stämme haben ihren Erbbesitz auf der andern Seite des Jordans, Jericho gegenüber, im Osten, nach Sonnenaufgang hin, bereits erhalten.«	15 these two and one half tribes have received their heritage on the eastern side of the Jericho stretch of the Jordan, toward the sunrise."
16 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Mose folgendes:	16 The LORD said to Moses,
17 »Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die das Land als Erbbesitz unter euch verteilen sollen: der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns;	17 "These are the names of the men who shall apportion the land among you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun,
18 dazu sollt ihr von jedem Stamm einen Fürsten zu der Verteilung des Landes hinzuziehen.	18 and one prince from each of the tribes whom you shall designate for this task.
19 Und dies sind die Namen der Männer: für den Stamm Juda: Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes;	19 These shall be as follows: from the tribe of Judah: Caleb, son of Jephunneh,
20 für den Stamm Simeon: Samuel, der Sohn Ammihuds;	20 from the tribe of Simeon: Samuel, son of Ammihud;
21 für den Stamm Benjamin: Elidad, der Sohn Kislons;	21 from the tribe of Benjamin: Elidad, son of Chislon;
22 für den Stamm Dan als Fürst: Bukki, der Sohn Joglis;	22 from the tribe of Dan: Bukki, son of Jogli;
23 für die Nachkommen Josephs: für den Stamm Manasse als Fürst: Hanniel, der Sohn Ephods,	23 from the tribe of Manasseh: Hanniel, son of Ephod; and
24 und für den Stamm Ephraim als Fürst: Kemuel, der Sohn Siphtans;	24 from the tribe of Ephraim: Kemuel, son of Shiphtan, for the descendants of Joseph;
25 für den Stamm Sebulon als Fürst: Elizaphan, der Sohn Parnachs;	25 from the tribe of Zebulun: Elizaphan, son of Parnach;
26 für den Stamm Issaschar als Fürst: Paltiel, der Sohn Assans;	26 from the tribe of Issachar: Paltiel, son of Azzan;
27 für den Stamm Asser als Fürst: Ahihud, der Sohn Selomis;	27 from the tribe of Asher: Ahihud, son of Shelomi;
28 für den Stamm Naphthali als Fürst: Pedahel, der Sohn Ammihuds.«	28 from the tribe of Naphtali: Pedahel, son of Ammihud."
29 Diese waren es, denen der HERR gebot, den Israeliten ihren Erbbesitz im Lande Kanaan zuzuteilen.	29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to assign the Israelites their heritage in the land of Canaan.
