Psalms 122

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.	1 Canto de peregrinación. De David. ¡Qué alegría cuando me dijeron: «Vamos a la Casa del Señor»!
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.	2 Nuestros pies ya están pisando tus umbrales, Jerusalén.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:	3 Jerusalén, que fuiste construida como ciudad bien compacta y armoniosa.
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.	4 Allí suben las tribus, las tribus del Señor –según es norma en Israel– para celebrar el nombre del Señor.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.	5 Porque allí está el trono de la justicia, el trono de la casa de David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.	6 Auguren la paz a Jerusalén: «¡Vivan seguros los que te aman!
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.	7 ¡Haya paz en tus muros y seguridad en tus palacios!».
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.	8 Por amor a mis hermanos y amigos, diré: «La paz esté contigo».
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.	9 Por amor a la Casa del Señor, nuestro Dios, buscaré tu felicidad.
