1 Aztán egybegyűjtötte Izrael fiainak egész közösségét, és azt mondta nekik: »Ez az, amit az Úr parancsolt, hogy meg kell tennetek.	1 Moses assembled the whole community of Israelites and said, 'These are the things Yahweh hasordered to be done:
2 Hat napon át végezzétek munkátokat, a hetedik nap szent legyen nektek, szombat és nyugalom az Úr tiszteletére. Aki azon munkát végez, ölessék meg!	2 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh must be a holy day for you, a day of complete rest, inhonour of Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on that day wil be put to death.
3 Tüzet se gyújtsatok szombat napján egyetlen lakóhelyeteken sem!«	3 You will not light a fire on the Sabbath day in any of your homes.'
