JERUSALEM	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Voici les rois du pays que les Israélites battirent et dont ils prirent le territoire, au-delà du Jourdain àl'orient, depuis le torrent de l'Arnon jusqu'à la montagne de l'Hermon, avec toute la Araba à l'orient:	1 These are the kings, whom the children of Israel slew and possessed their land beyond the Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the east country that looketh towards the wilderness.
2 Sihôn, roi des Amorites, qui habitait Heshbôn, avait pour domaine depuis Aroër qui est sur le bordde la vallée de l'Arnon y compris le fond de la vallée, la moitié de Galaad et jusqu'au Yabboq, le torrent qui estla frontière des Ammonites;	2 Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and had dominion from Aroer, which is seated upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, and of the middle part in the valley, and of half Galaad, as far as the torrent Jaboc, which is the border of the children of Ammon.
3 la Araba jusqu'à la mer de Kinnerot à l'orient, et jusqu'à la mer de la Araba, ou mer Salée, à l'orient,en direction de Bet-ha-Yeshimot, et, au sud, la base des pentes arrosées du Pisga.	3 And from the wilderness, to the sea of Ceneroth towards the east, and to the sea of the wilderness, which is the most salt sea, on the east side by the way that leadeth to Bethsimoth: and on the south side that lieth under Asedoth, Phasga.
4 Og, roi du Bashân, un des derniers Rephaïm, qui habitait à Ashtarot et à Edréï,	4 The border of Og the king of Basan, of the remnant of the Raphaims who dwelt in Astaroth, and in Edrai, and had dominion in mount Hermon, and in Salecha, and in all Basan, unto the herders
5 avait pour domaine le mont Hermon et Salka, tout le Bashân jusqu'à la frontière des Geshurites et desMaakatites, et la moitié de Galaad jusqu'aux frontières de Sihôn, roi de Heshbôn.	5 Of Gessuri and Machati, and of half Galaad: the borders of Sehon the king of Hesebon.
6 Moïse, serviteur de Yahvé, et les Israélites les avaient vaincus, et Moïse, serviteur de Yahvé, en avaitdonné la possession aux Rubénites, aux Gadites et à la demi-tribu de Manassé.	6 Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.
7 Voici les rois du pays que Josué et les Israélites battirent en deçà du Jourdain à l'occident, depuisBaal-Gad, dans la vallée du Liban, jusqu'au mont Pelé qui s'élève vers Séïr, et dont Josué distribua l'héritage auxtribus d'Israël suivant leur répartition:	7 These are the kings of the land, whom Josue and the children of Israel slew beyond the Jordan on the west side from Baalgad in the held of Libanus, unto the mount, part of which goeth up into Seir: and Josue delivered it in possession to the tribes of Israel, to every one their divisions,
8 dans la montagne et le Bas-Pays, dans la Araba et sur les pentes arrosées, au Désert et au Négeb,chez les Hittites, les Amorites, les Cananéens, les Perizzites, les Hivvites et les Jébuséens:	8 As well in the mountains as in the plains and the champaign countries. 18 le roi d'Aphèq, un; le roi en Sarôn, un;	18 The king of Aphec one, the king of Saron one,
19 le roi de Mérom, un; le roi de Haçor, un;	19 The king of Madon one, the king of Asor one,
20 le roi de Shimrôn Merôn, un; le roi d'Akshaph, un;	20 The king of Semeron one, the king of Achsaph one,
21 le roi de Tanak, un; le roi de Megiddo, un;	21 The king of Thenac one, the king of Megeddo one,
22 le roi de Qédesh, un; le roi de Yoqnéam au Carmel, un;	22 The king of Cades one, the king of Jachanan of Carmel one,
23 Le roi de Dor, aux coteaux de Dor, un; le roi des nations en Galilée, un;	23 The king of Dor, and of the province of Dor one, the king of the nations of Galgal one,
24 le roi de Tirça, un; nombre de tous ces rois: 31.	24 The king of Thersa one: all the kings thirty and one.
