1 Salmo di lode di Davide. O DIO mio, Re mio, io ti esalterò; E benedirò il tuo Nome in sempiterno.	1 Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war.
2 Io ti benedirò tuttodì; E loderò il tuo Nome in sempiterno.	2 My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.
3 Il Signore è grande, e degno di somma lode; E la sua grandezza non può essere investigata.	3 Lord, what is man, that thou art made known to him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?
4 Un’età dopo l’altra predicherà le lodi delle tue opere; E gli uomini racconteranno le tue prodezze.	4 Man is like to vanity: his days pass away like a shadow.
5 Io ragionerò della magnificenza della gloria della tua maestà, E delle tue maraviglie.	5 Lord, bow down thy heavens and descend: touch the mountains and they shall smoke.
6 E gli uomini diranno la potenza delle tue opere tremende; Ed io narrerò la tua grandezza.	6 Send forth lightning, and thou shalt scatter them: shoot out thy arrows, and thou shalt trouble them.
7 Essi sgorgheranno la ricordanza della tua gran bontà, E canteranno con giubilo la tua giustizia.	7 Put forth thy hand from on high, take me out, and deliver me from many waters: from the hand of strange children:
8 Il Signore è grazioso, e pietoso; Lento all’ira, e di gran benignità.	8 Whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity.
9 Il Signore è buono inverso tutti; E le sue compassioni son sopra tutte le sue opere	9 To thee, O God, I will sing a new canticle: on the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.
10 O Signore, tutte le tue opere ti celebreranno; E i tuoi santi ti benediranno:	10 Who givest salvation to kings: who hast redeemed thy servant David from the malicious sword:
11 Diranno la gloria del tuo regno; E narreranno la tua forza;	11 Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity:
12 Per far note le tue prodezze, E la magnificenza della gloria del tuo regno a’ figliuoli degli uomini.	12 Whose sons are as new plants in their youth: Their daughters decked out, adorned round about after the similitude of a temple:
13 Il tuo regno è un regno di tutti i secoli, E la tua signoria è per ogni età.	13 Their storehouses full, flowing out of this into that. Their sheep fruitful in young, abounding in their goings forth:
14 Il Signore sostiene tutti quelli che cadono, E rileva tutti quelli che dichinano.	14 their oxen fat. There is no breach of wall, nor passage, nor crying out in their streets.
15 Gli occhi di tutti sperano in te; E tu dài loro il lor cibo al suo tempo.	15 They have called the people happy, that hath these things: but happy is that people whose God is the Lord.
16 Tu apri la tua mano, E sazii di benevolenza ogni vivente
17 Il Signore è giusto in tutte le sue vie, E benigno in tutte le sue opere.
18 Il Signore è presso di tutti quelli che l’invocano, Di tutti quelli che l’invocano in verità.
19 Egli adempie il desiderio di quelli che lo temono, E ode il lor grido, e li salva.
20 Il Signore guarda tutti quelli che l’amano; E distruggerà tutti gli empi.
21 La mia bocca narrerà la lode del Signore; E ogni carne benedirà il Nome della sua santità In sempiterno
