Oseas 6

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 «Vengan, volvamos al Señor: él nos ha desgarrado, pero nos sanará; ha golpeado, pero vendará nuestras heridas.	1 Come, let us return to Yahweh. He has rent us and he wil heal us; he has struck us and he will bind upour wounds;
2 Después de dos días nos hará revivir, al tercer día nos levantará, y viviremos en su presencia.	2 after two days he wil revive us, on the third day he wil raise us up and we shal live in his presence.
3 Esforcémonos por conocer al Señor: su aparición es cierta como la aurora. Vendrá a nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia de primavera que riega la tierra».	3 Let us know, let us strive to know Yahweh; that he will come is as certain as the dawn. He wil come tous like a shower, like the rain of springtime to the earth.
4 ¿Qué haré contigo, Efraím? ¿Qué haré contigo, Judá? Porque el amor de ustedes es como nube matinal, como el rocío de pronto se disipa.	4 What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What am I to do with you, Judah? For your love is like morningmist, like the dew that quickly disappears.
5 Por eso los hice pedazos por medio de los profetas, los hice morir con las palabras de mi boca, y mi juicio surgirá como la luz.	5 This is why I have hacked them to pieces by means of the prophets, why I have kil ed them with wordsfrom my mouth, why my sentence wil blaze forth like the dawn-
6 Porque yo quiero amor y no sacrificios, conocimiento de Dios más que holocaustos.	6 for faithful love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings.
7 Ellos violaron mi alianza en Adam, allí me traicionaron.	7 But they have broken the covenant at Adam, there they have betrayed me.
8 Galaad es una ciudad de malhechores, llena de improntas de sangre.	8 Gilead is a city of evil-doers, ful of bloody footprints.
9 Como bandidos que están al acecho, una banda de sacerdotes asesina en el camino de Siquem; ¡es una infamia lo que hacen!	9 Like so many robbers in ambush, a gang of priests commits murder on the road to Shechem- whatinfamous behaviour!
10 En la casa de Israel he visto una cosa horrible; allí se prostituye Efraím, se contamina Israel.	10 At Bethel I have seen a horrible thing; there Ephraim plays the whore, Israel is befouled.
11 También a ti, Judá, se te ha destinado una cosecha, cuando yo cambie la suerte de mi pueblo.	11 For you too, Judah, a harvest is in store, when I restore my people's fortunes.
