1 Oración de David.

Inclina tu oído, Señor, respóndeme,

porque soy pobre y miserable;

1 [Prayer Of David] Listen to me, Yahweh, answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 protégeme, porque soy uno de tus fieles,

salva a tu servidor que en ti confía.

2 Guard me, for I am faithful, save your servant who relies on you. You are my God,
3 Tú eres mi Dios: ten piedad de mí, Señor,

porque te invoco todo el día;

3 take pity on me, Lord, for to you I cry al the day.
4 reconforta el ánimo de tu servidor,

porque a ti, Señor, elevo mi alma.

4 Fil your servant's heart with joy, Lord, for to you I raise up my heart.
5 Tú, Señor, eres bueno e indulgente,

rico en misericordia con aquellos que te invocan:

5 Lord, you are kind and forgiving, rich in faithful love for al who cal upon you.
6 ¡atiende, Señor, a mi plegaria,

escucha la voz de mi súplica!

6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to the sound of my pleading.
7 Yo te invoco en el momento de la angustia;

porque tú me respondes.

7 In my day of distress I cal upon you, because you answer me, Lord;
8 No hay otro dios igual a ti, Señor,

ni hay obras como las tuyas.

8 among the gods there is none to compare with you, no great deeds to compare with yours.
9 Todas las naciones que has creado

vendrán a postrarse delante de ti

y glorificarán tu Nombre, Señor.

9 Al nations wil come and adore you, Lord, and give glory to your name.
10 porque tú eres grande, Dios mío,

y eres el único que hace maravillas.

10 For you are great and do marvel ous deeds, you, God, and none other.
11 Indícame tu camino, Señor,

para que yo viva según tu verdad;

orienta totalmente mi corazón

al temor de tu Nombre.

11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart's one aim be tofear your name.
12 Te daré gracias, Dios mío, de todo corazón,

y glorificaré tu Nombre eternamente;

12 I thank you with al my heart, Lord my God, I wil glorify your name for ever,
13 porque es grande el amor que me tienes,

y tú me libraste del fondo del Abismo.

13 for your faithful love for me is so great that you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.
14 Dios mío, los orgullosos se levantaron contra mí,

y una banda de forajidos atenta contra mi vida

sin preocuparse para nada de ti.

14 Arrogant men, God, are rising up against me, a brutal gang is after my life, in their scheme of thingsyou have no place.
15 Pero tú, Señor, Dios compasivo y bondadoso,

lento para enojarte, rico en amor y fidelidad,

15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and loyalty,
16 vuelve hacia mí tu rostro y ten piedad de mí;

fortalece a tu servidor,

salva a tu hijo de tu servidora.

16 turn to me and pity me. Give to your servant your strength, to the child of your servant your savinghelp,
17 Dame una prueba de tu bondad,

para que mis adversarios queden confundidos,

al ver que tú, Señor, eres mi ayuda y mi consuelo.		17 give me a sign of your kindness.
18 My enemies wil see to their shame that you, Yahweh, help and console me.
