| 2 che voi la riceviate in Dio molto degnamente, e aiutiatela in qualunque cosa a lei sarà bisogno; imperocchè ella ha ben servito e aiutato molti, e me medesimo. | 2 that you may receive her in the Lord as befits the saints, and help her in whatever she may require from you, for she has been a helper of many and of myself as well. |

| 17 Fratelli, pregovi che vi guardiate da tutti coloro che fanno altro che la dottrina che voi imparaste; e cessatevi da coloro che fanno dissensioni (e brighe) e offendimenti della fede. | 17 I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them. |
| 18 Chè questi non servono a Cristo, anzi servono al suo ventre; e con dolci parole e con dolci benedizioni ingannano li cuori delli semplici (e de'puri). | 18 For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the simple-minded. |
| 19 Chè la vostra obbedienza è divulgata (e palesata) in ogni luogo. Adunque allegromi in voi; ma voglio che voi siate savii nel bene, e semplici nel male. | 19 For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I would have you wise as to what is good and guileless as to what is evil; |
| 20 E Dio della pace metterà sotto li piedi vostri Satana (tentatore) prestamente. La grazia del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo sia con tutti voi. | 20 then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. |
| 21 Salutavi Timoteo, il mio aiutore, e Lucio e Iasone e Sosipatro, miei parenti. | 21 Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you; so do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen. |

| 25 E a colui sia gloria, il quale è potente di confermare voi secondo la mia predicazione, e secondo l'Evangelio di Iesù Cristo, e secondo il manifestamento del secreto de' temporali eternali nascosto. | 25 Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret for long ages |
| 26 Il qual secreto ora sì è palese per le scritture delli profeti, secondo il comandamento di Dio. eterno, a obbedienza della fede, in colui che manifestò in tutte le genti, | 26 but is now disclosed and through the prophetic writings is made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith-- |
| 27 cioè a solo Dio savio, per Iesù Cristo, al qual sia onore e gloria (per tutti li tempi) PER SECULA SECULORUM. Amen. | 27 to the only wise God be glory for evermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. |
