| 1 Fa che tu guardi il tuo mese nel quale sono le nuove biade, e quello del primo mese del verno, acciò che facci la pasqua (e solennità) a Dio tuo Signore; imperochè in questo mese ti trasse Iddio, tuo Signore, dello Egitto di notte. | 1 "Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover to the LORD your God; for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night. |
| 2 E sacrificherai la pasqua al tuo Signore Iddio, delle pecore e de' buoi, nel luogo il quale eleggerà Iddio tuo Signore, acciò che quivi abiti il suo nome. | 2 And you shall offer the passover sacrifice to the LORD your God, from the flock or the herd, at the place which the LORD will choose, to make his name dwell there. |
| 3 In quell'ora non mangerai pane (lievato e) fermentato; sette dì mangerai il pane azimo, il pane della afflizione, imperochè tu uscisti d'Egitto con grande paura; acciò che tu ti raccordi di quel dì, il quale tu uscisti d'Egitto, tutti quanti i dì della vita tua. | 3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction--for you came out of the land of Egypt in hurried flight--that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt. |
| 4 Guardi che non si truovi pane (lievato nè) fermentato in tutti quanti i termini (e confini) tuoi sette dì; e di quella carne, che è (offerta e) sacrificata, non ne rimarrà niente insino al vespro, nè l'altro di nella mattina. | 4 No leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory for seven days; nor shall any of the flesh which you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain all night until morning. |
| 5 Tu non potrai fare questa (offerta nè questa) pasqua in ciascuna cittade, la quale Iddio tuo Signore ti darae (non la potrai fare cioè la pasqua), | 5 You may not offer the passover sacrifice within any of your towns which the LORD your God gives you; |
| 6 ma solo in quello luogo il quale vorrà eleg gere Iddio, tuo Signore, acciò che il suo nome si stia ivi; e quivi sacrificherai (e offerrai e farai) la pasqua, al vespro, quando sarà tramontato il sole, in quell' ora che tu uscisti d'Egitto. | 6 but at the place which the LORD your God will choose, to make his name dwell in it, there you shall offer the passover sacrifice, in the evening at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. |
| 7 E cuocerai e mangerai in quello luogo il quale (vorrà ed) eleggerà Iddio tuo Signore; e la mattina, levandoti, (tornerai e) anderai nelle tue case. | 7 And you shall boil it and eat it at the place which the LORD your God will choose; and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. |
| 8 Sei dì mangerai cose azime (cioè non lievate); nel settimo dì non farai (cosa alcuna nè) operazione alcuna, imperciò che gli è la ricolta di Dio tuo Signore. | 8 For six days you shall eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God; you shall do no work on it. |
| 9 Annumererai a te sette settimane da quel dì che tu cominci a mettere la falce nella biada. | 9 "You shall count seven weeks; begin to count the seven weeks from the time you first put the sickle to the standing grain. |
| 10 E poi farai festa (il dì settimo) di queste settimane a Dio tuo Signore; e farai offerta per tua propria volontà; la quale tu offerrai colle tue mani, secondo la benedizione di Dio tuo Signore (cioè secondo la ricolta che tu averai). | 10 Then you shall keep the feast of weeks to the LORD your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the LORD your God blesses you; |
| 11 E mangerai dinanzi a Dio tuo Signore, tu e ancora tuo figliuolo e la tua figliuola, e il servo tuo e servigiale tua, il prete o preti i quali sono dentro dalle porte tue, e il forestiere e il pupillo e la vedova i quali abitano con voi, in quello luogo il quale (vorrà ed) eleggerà Iddio tuo Signere, acciò che quivi istia (e sia) il suo nome. | 11 and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your son and your daughter, your manservant and your maidservant, the Levite who is within your towns, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place which the LORD your God will choose, to make his name dwell there. |
| 12 E ricordera' ti che tu fosti servo in Egitto; e farai e custodirai quelle cose che sono comandate. | 12 You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes. |
| 13 E la solennitade de' tabernacoli fa che servi, (e faccine festa) sette dì, quando tu avrai ricolta la biada dell’aia, e avrai pigiato e riposto il vino. | 13 "You shall keep the feast of booths seven days, when you make your ingathering from your threshing floor and your wine press; |
| 14 E sì mangerai con grande festa, tu e il tuo figliuolo e la tua figliuola e il servo tuo e la servigiale tua, il prete (il quale sta dentro dalle porte tue) e il ferestiere e il pupillo e la vedova i quali abitano e stanno con voi (in quello luogo il quale eleggerà e vorrà Iddio tuo Signore, acciò che il sno nome sia e abiti quivi). | 14 you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your manservant and your maidservant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns. |
| 15 Sette di farai festa a Dio tuo Signore, in quello luogo che vorrà Iddio; e Iddio tuo Signore ti benedicerà in tutte quante le biade tue (d'ogni tempo) nelle operazioni delle tue mani, e sarai in grande letizia. | 15 For seven days you shall keep the feast to the LORD your God at the place which the LORD will choose; because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful. |
| 16 Tre volte l'anno verranno dinanzi a Dio, tuo Signore, tutti i (figliuoli) maschii tuoi in quello luogo che vorrà (ed eleggerà Iddio tuo Signore) in queste tre pasque; la prima si è la solennitade, quando mangerete cose azime (la quale noi la chiamiamo resurrezione; allora mangiano loro l'agnello, e faceano festa di quel dì che Iddio gli aveva tratti della servitude d'Egitto); l'altra sarà la solennitade delle settimane; e l'altra sarà la festa della) solennitade de' tabernacoli. Nè non verrai in quello tempo v?to (cioè sanza quello che tu dee offerire) dinanzi a Dio. | 16 "Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God at the place which he will choose: at the feast of unleavened bread, at the feast of weeks, and at the feast of booths. They shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed; |
| 17 Ma ciascuno offerirà, secondo che avrà avuto la benedizione di Dio suo Signore (cioè secondo la sua ricolta) la quale Iddio gli avrà data. | 17 every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which he has given you. |
| 18 Giudici e maestri ordinerai in tutte le porte (che ogni porta gli abbia), le quali Iddio tuo Signore ti darà, per tutte quante le tue schiatte, acciò che giùdichino il (tuo) popolo con giusto giudicio, | 18 "You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. |
| 19 e non vadano dalla parte contraria. Non avrai accetta più una persona che un' altra: nè non piglierai (nè non riceverai denari nè doni nè) presenti; imperciò che questi doni (e denari) sì accecano gli occhii degli uomini savii, e sì mutano la parola degli uomini giusti. | 19 You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality; and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. |
| 20 Giustamente quello che è giusto trarrai innanzi (e perseguiterai) acciò che vivi e possegghi la terra, la quale Iddio tuo Signore t'avrà data. | 20 Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you. |
| 21 Guarda che non pianti bosco alcuno nè arbore (per fare alcuna solennitade e sacrificio e riverenza occultamente ad alcuno idolo il quale sia) a lato all'altare di Dio tuo Signore. | 21 "You shall not plant any tree as an Asherah beside the altar of the LORD your God which you shall make. |
| 22 E non farai sopra a te statua, la quale Iddio ha in odio. | 22 And you shall not set up a pillar, which the LORD your God hates. |
