1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè e Aaron, e disse loro:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2 Tutti quanti i figliuoli d'Israel avranno li suoi segni per le loro generazioni, e tutti colle loro bandiere s'alloggeranno per lo circuito del tabernacolo della testimonianza.	2 All the children of Israel shall camp by their troops, ensigns, and standards, and the houses of their kindreds, round about the tabernacle of the covenant.
3 Dall'oriente Giuda porrà le sue tende e tutta la gente sua; e loro principe sarà Naasson figliuolo di Aminadab.	3 On the east Juda shall pitch his tents by the bands of his army: and the prince of his sons shall be Nahasson the son of Aminadab.
4 E della sua ischiatta saranno uomini da combattere LxxIIII migliaia e seicento.	4 And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 E ivi presso sono alloggiati di schiatta d'Issacar, de' quali fue principe Natanael figliuolo di Suar.	5 Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.
6 E furono coloro che poteano combattere, cinquantaquattro migliaia e CCCC.	6 And the whole number of his fighting men were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
7 Nella schiatta di Zabulon fue principe Eliab figliuolo di Elon.	7 In the tribe of Zabulon the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.
8 Tutti coloro, ch' erano da combattere, furono LvII migliaia e CCCC.	8 And all the army of fighting men of his stock, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
9 E tutti quelli, che furono annumerati nelli loggiamenti di Giuda, furono cLXXXVI migliaia e CCCC; e con tutta la gente (aschierati) uscirono in prima fuori (delli castelli).	9 All that were numbered in the camp of Juda, were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: and they by their troops shall march first.
10 De' figliuoli di Ruben, verso lo mezzo die, loro principe sarà Elisur figliuolo di Sedeur.	10 In the camp of the sons of Ruben, on the south side, the prince shall be Elisur the son of Sedeur:
11 E tutto il popolo suo, che a battaglia puote andare, furono xLvi migliaia e cinquecento.	11 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 E sono alloggiati appresso lui della schiatta di Simeon, de' quali fue principe Salamiel figliuolo di Surisaddai.	12 Beside him camped they of the tribe of Simeon: whose prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.
13 E tutto lo suo esercito da combattere, che fue annomerato, furono LvIIII milia e CCC.	13 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
14 Della schiatta di Gad fue principe Eliasaf figliuolo di Duel.	14 In the tribe of Gad the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel.
15 E tutto lo esercito, ch' era numerato da battaglia, furono xLv milia e secento cinquanta.	15 And the whole army of his fighting men that were numbered, were fortyfive thousand six hundred and fifty.
16 E tutti quelli, che sono trovati nelli loggiamenti di Ruben, furono cL migliaia, e mille CCCCL. E tutte le sue schiere (ordinatamente) usciranno fuori nel secondo luogo.	16 All that were reckoned up in the camp of Ruben, were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, by their troops: they shall march in the second place.
17 L'ufficio de' figliuoli di Levi sarà d'innalzare il tabernacolo santo; e come per loro si lieva, così si deponga; e ciascheduno al suo luogo, e secondo che sarà ordinato, uscirà fuori.	17 And the tabernacle of the testimony shall be carried by the officers of the Levites and their troops. As it shall be set up, so shall it be taken down. Every one shall march according to their places, and ranks.
18 Alla parte d’occidente saranno i loggiamenti de' figliuoli d'Efraim, de' quali fue principe Elisama figliuolo di Amiud.	18 On the west side shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose prince was Elisama, the son of Ammiud.
19 E tutto lo esercito suo, che fue annumerato, che a battaglia potesse andare, fue quaranta miglia e cinquecento.	19 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.
20 E con loro fue la schiatta de' figliuoli di Manasse, de quali fue principe Gamaliel figliuolo di Fadassur.	20 And with them the tribe of the sons of Manasses, whose prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur.
21 E tutti i suoi uomini di battaglia furono XXXII milia e CC.	21 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 Nella schiatta di Beniamin fue principe Abidan figliuolo di Gedeone.	22 In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon.
23 E tutta la gente sua da battaglia furono XXXV miglia e CCCC.	23 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were reckoned up, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
24 E tutti quelli che furono annumerati delli loggiamenti di Efraim furono CVIII milia e C, per tutte le sue schiere; e saranno i terzi che usciranno fuori.	24 All that were numbered in the camp of Ephraim, were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred by their troops: they shall march in the third place.
25 Dalla parte d’acquilone abiteranno i figliuoli di Dan, dei quali fue principe Abiezer figliuolo di Amisaddai.	25 On the north side camped the sons of Dan: whose prince was Ahiezar the son of Ammisaddai.
26 E tutta la gente sua da battaglia furono LXII milia e settecento.	26 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
27 E presso a lui puosero le tende della schiatta d'Aser, de' quali fue principe Fegiel figliuolo di Ocran.	27 Beside him they of the tribe of Aser pitched their tents: whose prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran.
28 Tutta la gente sua, che a battaglia poterono andare, furono xL milia e MD.	28 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
29 Della schiatta de' figliuoli di Neftali, dei quali fue principe Aira figliuolo di Enan,	29 Of the tribe of the sons of Nephtali the prince was Ahira the son of Enan.
30 tutta la gente sua, che a battaglia poteo andare, furono Lili m. e CCCC.	30 The whole army of his fighting men, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
31 Coloro ch' erano da combattere, che si trovarono nelli loggiamenti di Dan, furono cLvII milia e DC; e questi usciranno fuori nell'ultimo luogo.	31 All that were numbered in the camp of Dan, were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred: and they shall march last.
32 E quivi si trovoe lo numero de' figliuoli d'Israel, per tutte le loro generazioni e famiglie e case, secento tre m. cinquecento L.	32 This is the number of the children of Israel, of their army divided according to the houses of their kindreds and their troops, six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
33 Quelli di Levi non son numerati con loro, però che Iddio lo comandò a Moisè.	33 And the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel: for so the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 Fecero i figliuoli d'Israel ciò che Iddio comandò loro; e abitarono ciascheduno per le sue schiatte, e andarono per le famiglie e per le case de' padri loro.	34 And the children of Israel did according to all things that the Lord had commanded. They camped by their troops, and marched by the families and houses of their fathers.
