Osea 6

1 Egli si leveranno la mattina colla loro tribulazione per venire a me, (e diranno:) venite, e torniamo al nostro Iddio.	1 In their affliction they will rise early to me: Come, and let us return to the Lord:
2 Però ch' egli incominciò, e sanerà noi; e percuoterà noi, e farà la cura di noi.	2 For he hath taken us, and he will heal us: he will strike, and he will cure us.
3 Elli farà noi vivi dopo due dì; e resusciterà noi al terzo dì, e viveremo nel suo conspetto. E sapremo e seguiteremo (lui) acciò che noi cognosciamo lo Signore; l'uscimento [suo] è preparato come l'alba del die, e verrà a noi come lo vento acquaio, quando viene a tempo, e quando viene serotino alla terra.	3 He will revive us after two days: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. We shall know, and we shall follow on, that we may know the Lord. His going forth is prepared as the morning light, and he will come to us as the early and the latter rain to the earth.
4 Or che farò io a te, Efraim? Or che farò io a te, (o casa di) Giuda? La vostra misericordia è quasi come la chiara nuvola, e come la rugiada che passa la mattina.	4 What shall I do to thee, O Ephraim? what shall I do to thee, O Juda? your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that goeth away in the morning.
5 E però mi dolsi contro alli profeti, e uccisili colla parola della mia bocca; e li tuoi giudicii usciranno fuori come una luce.	5 For this reason have I hewed them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments shall go forth as the light.
6 Però ch' io volli misericordia, e non sacrificio, e la scienza di Dio più tosto che sacrificio.	6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice: and the knowledge of God more than holocausts.
7 Ma loro sono prevaricati, come Adam, lo mio patto; e ivi prevaricarono contro a me.	7 But they, like Adam, have transgressed the covenant, there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Galaad, cittade di quelli che adorano li idoli, è affogata nel sangue.	8 Galaad is a city of workers of idols, supplanted with blood.
9 E quasi come bocca di ladroni (cioè li loro desiderii) che ha tolto parte de' sacerdoti, uccidendo nella via chi andavano e uscivano di Sichem (cioè d' un' altra terra, e andavano a fare male); però che hanno adoperato (e fatto) fellonia.	9 And like the jaws of highway robbers, they conspire with the priests who murder in the way those that pass out Sichem: for they have wrought wickedness.
10 Nella casa d' Israel io vidi cosa molto spaventevole; ivi sono le fornicazioni di Efraim, (cioè che li uomini di Efraim hanno contaminato); è maculato Israel.	10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: the fornications of Ephraim there: Israel is defiled.
11 Ma poni, tu Giuda, a te per ricolta, quando io averò convertita la cattivitade del mio popolo.	11 And thou also, O Juda, set thee a harvest, when I shall bring back captivity of my people.
