Єзекиїл 11

Біблія	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Потім підняв мене дух угору й приніс до східньої брами Господнього дому, що була на схід сонця. І ось коло входу в двері було двадцять п’ять чоловік. Між ними зауважив я Яазанію, сина Аззура, і Пелат’ягу, сина Бенаягу, князів народних.	1 The spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the Temple of Yahweh, the gate that lookseastwards. There at the entrance to the gate stood twenty-five men, among whom I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzurand Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
2 Господь сказав мені: «Сину чоловічий! Це ті люди, що в них лихе на думці й що дораджують лихе в цім місті.	2 He said to me, 'Son of man, these are the wicked schemers who are spreading their bad advicethrough this city.
3 Вони кажуть: Чи ж не скоро будуть будинки ставити? Воно (місто) казан, ми — м’ясо.	3 They say, "There will be no house-building yet awhile. The city is the cooking pot and we are themeat."
4 Ось тому пророкуй проти них, пророкуй, сину чоловічий!»	4 So prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man!'
5 І зійшов на мене дух Господній і сказав до мене: «Промов! Так говорить Господь: Ви так говорите, доме Ізраїля, і що в вас на думці, я знаю.	5 The spirit of Yahweh fel on me, and he said to me, 'Say, "Yahweh says this: I know what you aresaying, House of Israel, I know how insolent you are.
6 Багато ви поклали трупом у цьому місті й закидали вулиці його побитими.	6 You have filled this city with more and more of your victims; you have strewn its streets with victims.
7 Тому й каже Господь Бог так: Побиті, що ви поклали трупом серед нього — (вони) м’ясо, а воно (місто) — казан, вас же я повиводжу з нього.	7 And so the Lord Yahweh says this: Your victims, whom you have put in it, are the meat, and the city isthe cooking pot; but I shal take you out of it.
8 Меча ви боїтесь — меча я наведу на вас, — слово Господа Бога.	8 You are afraid of the sword and I shall bring the sword down on you -- declares the Lord Yahweh-
9 Я повиводжу вас геть із нього і пооддаю вас у руки чужинцям, і вчиню над вами суд.	9 and I shall take you out of it and hand you over to foreigners and bring you to justice;
10 Від меча поляжете. На ізраїльській границі судитиму вас, і зрозумієте, що я — Господь.	10 you will fal by the sword on the soil of Israel; I shal execute justice on you, and you wil know that Iam Yahweh.
11 Не буде воно для вас казаном, і ви не будете м’ясом у ньому: на ізраїльській границі судитиму вас.	11 This city wil be no cooking pot for you, nor wil you be the meat inside; I shal execute justice on youon the soil of Israel;
12 І ви зрозумієте, що я — Господь, у заповідях якого ви не ходили й закону якого не виконували, а виконували закон народів, що навкруги вас.»	12 and you wil know that I am Yahweh, whose laws you have not obeyed and whose judgements youhave not kept; instead, you have adopted the customs of the nations round you." '
13 І ось, як я пророкував, умер Пелат’ягу, син Бенаягу. І впав я на лице й кликнув голосно: «Ой Господи Боже! Невже ж ти хочеш вигубити останок Ізраїля?»	13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah dropped dead. I fel to the ground and cried out,'Ah, Lord Yahweh, are you going to annihilate the remnant of Israel?'
14 І надійшло до мене таке слово Господнє:	14 The word of Yahweh was then addressed to me as follows,
15 «Сину чоловічий! Твоїм братам, твоїм родичам і всьому домові Ізраїля вкупі — їм говорять мешканці єрусалимські: Далеко ви від Господа, нам віддана земля в посілість.	15 'Son of man, to your brothers one and al , to your kinsfolk and to the whole House of Israel, theinhabitants of Jerusalem have said, "Keep wel away from Yahweh. This country has now been made over tous!"
16 Тому скажи: Так говорить Господь Бог: Хоч я позасилаю їх далеко між поган та порозкидаю їх по землях, а все ж таки я буду для них на час святинею в тих землях, куди вони позаходили.	16 So say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Yes, I have sent them far away among the nations and I havedispersed them to foreign countries; and for a while I have been a sanctuary for them in the country to whichthey have gone."
17 Тому скажи: Так говорить Господь Бог: Я позбираю вас із-поміж народів, зберу докупи вас із тих земель, де ви порозсівані, і дам вам Ізраїльську землю.	17 So say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall gather you back from the peoples, I shall col ect you infrom the countries where you have been scattered and give you the land of Israel.
18 Вони поприходять туди й повикидають звідти всі її гидоти і всі її мерзоти.	18 When they come back, they wil purge it of al its horrors and loathsome practices.
19 Я дам їм одне серце й вкладу в них новий дух, я вийму з їхнього тіла камінне серце й дам їм серце тілесне,	19 I shal give them a single heart and I shal put a new spirit in them; I shall remove the heart of stonefrom their bodies and give them a heart of flesh,
20 щоб вони за моїми заповідями ходили та моїх законів пильнували і їх виконували. Тоді вони будуть моїм народом а я буду їхнім Богом.	20 so that they can keep my laws and respect my judgements and put them into practice. Then they wilbe my people and I shall be their God.
21 А чиє серце пристане до їхніх бовванів та мерзот, то вчинки тих я оберну їм на голову», — слово Господа Бога.	21 But those whose hearts are set on their horrors and loathsome practices I shal repay for theirconduct -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '
22 Тоді піднесли херувими свої крила, і колеса рушили разом з ними, слава ж Господа, Бога Ізраїля перебувала над ними зверху.	22 The winged creatures then raised their wings and the wheels moved with them, with the glory of theGod of Israel over them, above.
23 І знялася слава Господня з-посеред міста та й зупинилась над горою, що на схід від міста.	23 And the glory of Yahweh rose from the centre of the city and halted on the mountain to the east of thecity.
24 І підняв мене дух угору та й переніс мене в видінні, духом Божим, у Халдею, до вигнанців, і видіння, що я бачив, зникло від мене.	24 Then the spirit lifted me up and took me, in vision, in the spirit of God, to the exiles in Chaldaea, andthe vision which I had seen faded.
25 І я оповів вигнанцям усе те, що Господь показав мені.	25 I then told the exiles everything that Yahweh had shown me.
