1 Anioł, który mówił do mnie, zbudził mnie znowu, jak budzi się kogoś śpiącego.	1 The angel who was talking to me came back and roused me as though rousing someone who wasasleep.
2 I zapytał mnie: Co widzisz? Odpowiedziałem: Widzę świecznik, cały ze złota, a u jego szczytu zbiornik, podtrzymujący siedem lamp, a każda lampa ma siedem palników.	2 And he asked me, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'As I look, there is a lamp-stand entirely of gold with abowl at the top of it; it holds seven lamps, with seven openings for the lamps on it.
3 I dwie oliwki stoją, jedna z prawej strony, a druga z lewej strony zbiornika.	3 By it are two olive trees, one to the right and the other to the left.'
4 Zapytałem anioła, który mówił do mnie: Co to wszystko znaczy, panie mój?	4 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are those things, my lord?'
5 Anioł, który do mnie mówił, odpowiedział: Nie wiesz, co to wszystko znaczy? Odrzekłem: Nie, panie mój?	5 The angel who was talking to me replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'
6 W odpowiedzi przemówił do mnie: Oto słowo Pańskie do Zorobabela: Nie siła, nie moc, ale Duch mój [dokończy dzieła] - mówi Pan Zastępów.	6 He then gave me this answer,'These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range over the whole world.'
7 Czymże ty jesteś, góro wysoka, dla Zorobabela? On położy kamień na szczycie, wśród radosnych okrzyków: Dzięki, dzięki za nią!	7 'What are you, great mountain? Beside Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! He wil bring out thekeystone while it is cheered with Hurrah! Hurrah!'
8 Potem Pan skierował do mnie to słowo:	8 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
9 Ręce Zorobabela położyły fundamenty tego domu i jego ręce go dokończą. Po tym poznacie, że Pan Zastępów posłał mnie do was.	9 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this Temple; his hands wil finish it. (Then you wilknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you.)
10 Bo któż by lekceważył chwilę skromnego początku, skoro z radością patrzą na pion ołowiany w ręku Zorobabela. Siedem owych [lamp] to oczy Pana, które przypatrują się całej ziemi.	10 A day of little things, no doubt, but who would dare despise it? How they wil rejoice when they see thechosen stone in the hands of Zerubbabel!'
11 I zwróciłem się do niego z takim zapytaniem: Co oznaczają te dwie oliwki z prawej i z lewej strony świecznika?	11 Then I went on to ask him, 'What is the meaning of these two olive trees, to right and left of the lamp-stand?'
12 Powtórnie tak go zapytałem: Co oznaczają te dwie gałązki oliwne, z których złotymi rurkami płynie złota oliwa?	12 (And I went on to ask him further, 'What is the meaning of the two olive branches discharging oilthrough the two golden openings?')
13 Nie wiesz - odpowiedział mi - co one oznaczają? Odrzekłem: Nie, panie mój!	13 He replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'
14 I wyjaśnił: To są dwaj pomazańcy, którzy stoją przed Panem całego świata.	14 He said, 'These are the two anointed ones in attendance on the Lord of the whole world. This is theword of Yahweh with regard to Zerubbabel, 'Not by might and not by power, but by my spirit' -- says YahwehSabaoth.
