1 W owych dniach Ezechiasz zachorował śmiertelnie. I shal cure you: in three days' time you will go up to the Temple of Yahweh. I shal addfifteen years to your life.
6 Wybawię ciebie i to miasto z ręki króla asyryjskiego i roztoczę opiekę nad tym miastem. (6a) Powiedział też Izajasz: Weźcie placek figowy i przyłóżcie do wrzodu, a zdrów będzie! (6b) Ezechiasz zaś rzekł: Jaki znak upewni mię, że wejdę do świątyni Pańskiej?	6 I shal save you and this city from the king of Assyria's clutches and defend this city for my sake and myservant David's sake." '
7 Izajasz odrzekł: Niech ci będzie ten znak od Pana, że spełni On tę rzecz, którą przyrzekł:	7 'Here', Isaiah replied, 'is the sign from Yahweh that he will do what he has said.
8 Oto ja cofnę cień wskazówki zegarowej o dziesięć stopni, po których słońce już zeszło na słonecznym zegarze Achaza. 12 Mieszkanie me rozbiorą i przeniosą ode mnie jak namiot pasterzy. Zwijam jak tkacz moje życie. On mnie odcina od nici. Za dzień i jedną noc mnie zamęczysz.	12 My home has been pul ed up, and thrown away like a shepherd's tent; like a weaver, I have rol ed upmy life, he has cut me from the loom. From dawn to dark, you have been making an end of me;
13 Krzyczę aż do rana. On kruszy jak lew wszystkie me kości: w ciągu dnia i jednej nocy mnie zamęczysz.	13 til daybreak, I cried for help; like a lion, he has crushed al my bones, from dawn to dark, you havebeen making an end of me.

17 Oto na zdrowie zamienił mi gorycz. Ty zachowałeś mą duszę od dołu unicestwienia, gdyż poza siebie rzuciłeś wszystkie moje grzechy.	17 At once, my bitterness turns to wel -being. For you have preserved my soul from the pit ofnothingness, you have thrust al my sins behind you.
18 Zaiste, nie Szeol Cię sławi ani Śmierć wychwala Ciebie; nie ci oglądają się na Twoją wierność, którzy w dół zstępują.	18 For Sheol cannot praise you, nor Death celebrate you; those who go down to the pit can hope nolonger in your constancy.
