Isaia 65

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Coloro (addomandarono a noi, e) cercarono di me, i quali innanzi non domandavano (di noi); e trovarono me coloro i quali non mi cercarono. E io dissi ecco me, ecco me, (e dissi così) a quelle genti le quali non (mi) chiamavano (e non mi conoscevano, e che non sapeano) lo mio nome.	1 I have let myself be approached by those who did not consult me, I have let myself be found by thosewho did not seek me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am!' to a nation that did not invoke my name.
2 Io sparsi le mie mani tutto dì al populo che non crede, il qual va per via non buona dopo li suoi pensieri;	2 Each day I stretched out my hands to a rebel ious people who fol ow a way which is not good, as thefancy takes them;
3 populo il quale mi provoca a iracundia (cioè a ira, e) sempre (mi commuove) innanzi alla mia faccia; i quali fanno i sacrificii nelli orti, e sacrificano sopra le pietre;	3 a people constantly provoking me to my face by sacrificing in gardens, burning incense on bricks,
4 i quali àbitano nelli sepolcri, e dormono nelli templi delli idoli; i quali manucano la carne porcina, e nelli loro vasi si è la ragione iscomunicata;	4 living in tombs, spending the night in dark corners, eating the meat of pigs, putting unclean foods ontheir plates.
5 i quali dicono: pàrtiti da me, non mi ti appressare, però che tu se' brutto: questi saranno fumo nel mio furore, e saranno fuoco che arderà tutto dì.	5 'Keep your distance,' they say, 'do not touch me, lest my sanctity come near you!' Such words are likestifling smoke to me, an ever-burning fire.
6 Ecco ch' è scritto innanzi a me; io non tacerò, ma io renderò e retribuirò nel grembo loro	6 Look, it is inscribed before me: I shal not be silent until I have repaid them, repaid them in ful ,
7 le vostre malvagitadi, e le iniquità de' vostri padri insieme, dice lo Signore Iddio, i quali feciono li sacrificii sopra li monti, e biasimarono me sopra li colli; e rimisurerò la loro opera in prima nello loro grembo.	7 punished your guilt and your ancestors' guilt together, Yahweh declares. For having burnt incense onthe mountains and insulted me on the hil s, I shal pay them back in ful for what they have done.
8 Questo dice lo Signore: come che si trovi uno granello nell' uva, e sia detto: non lo guastare, però che è benedizione; così farò io per li miei servi, acciò ch' io non isparga (e che io non confonda) tutto.	8 Yahweh says this: As when a bunch of grapes is found stil to have juice in it, people say, 'Do notdestroy it, for it contains a blessing,' so I shall act for my servants' sake, I shal not destroy them all.
9 E trarrò lo seme di Iacob, e (della casa) di Giuda trarrò colui che possederà tutti li santi monti; e li miei eletti erediteranno quella, e li miei servi abiteranno ivi.	9 I shal produce descendants from Jacob and heirs to my mountains from Judah, my chosen ones wilown them and my servants wil live there.
10 E li campi saranno la casa delle greggie, e la valle di Acor sarà ridotto delli armenti (e questo sarà) al mio popolo il quale (addomandò e) cercò me.	10 Sharon wil be a pasture for flocks, the Val ey of Achor a feeding ground for cattle, for those of mypeople who have sought me.
11 E voi, che abbandonaste lo Signore e che dimenticaste lo monte santo mio, e componeste la mensa alla Fortuna, e sacrificate sopra quella,	11 But as for those of you who abandon Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who lay the table forGad, who fil cups of mixed wine for Meni,
12 io annumererò voi nel coltello, e tutti caderete nel tagliamento; per ciò ch' io chiamai voi, e non rispondeste; e parlai, e non mi voleste udire; e facevate male innanzi a' miei occhii, ed eleggeste (a voi) quelle cose ch' io non volli.	12 you I shal destine to the sword and al of you wil stoop to be slaughtered, because I cal ed and youwould not answer, I spoke and you would not listen; you have done what I consider evil, you chose to do whatdispleases me.
13 E però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco li miei servi mangeranno, e voi averete fame; e li miei servi beranno,	13 Therefore Lord Yahweh says this: You will see my servants eating while you go hungry; you will seemy servants drinking while you go thirsty; you wil see my servants rejoicing while you are put to shame;
14 ..... e voi starete in confusione; e li miei servi loderanno me per allegrezza del cuore, e voi griderete per lo dolore del cuore, e per lo abbattimento dello spirito urlerete.	14 you will hear my servants shouting for joy of heart, while you shriek for sorrow of heart and howl with abroken spirit.
15 E lascerete lo vostro nome per giuramento alli miei eletti; e lo mio Signore Iddio ucciderà te, e chiamerà li suoi servi per altro nome.	15 And you wil leave your name behind as a curse for my chosen ones, 'May Lord Yahweh strike youdead!' But to his servants he wil give another name.
16 Nel quale chi sarà benedetto sopra la terra, sarà benedetto da Dio, amen; e chi giurerà in terra, giurerà a Dio, amen; perciò che l'angosce prime sono dimenticate, però che sono nascose da' miei occhi.	16 Whoever blesses himself on earth wil bless himself by the God of truth, and whoever swears an oathon earth will swear by the God of truth, for past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.
17 Ecco, io creo (e fo) li cieli nuovi (cioè li ?anti), e la terra nuova (cioè la Chiesa santa); e non saranno le cose prime in memoria, e non saliranno sopra lo cuore.	17 For look, I am going to create new heavens and a new earth, and the past will not be rememberedand will come no more to mind.
18 Ma allegreretevi in sempiterno in queste cose le quali io creo; per che io creo Ierusalem per letizia, e lo popolo suo in letizia.	18 Rather be joyful, be glad for ever at what I am creating, for look, I am creating Jerusalem to be 'Joy'and my people to be 'Gladness'.
19 E rallegrerommi in Ierusalem, e avrò letizia nel mio popolo; e la voce non sarà più udita di pianto, e la voce di rumore.	19 I shal be joyful in Jerusalem and I shal rejoice in my people. No more will the sound of weeping beheard there, nor the sound of a shriek;
20 E tu non averai più fanciullo piccolo di giorni, e antico che non compia i suoi dì; però che lo fanciullo di cento anni morra, e lo peccatore di cento anni sarà maledetto.	20 never again wil there be an infant there who lives only a few days, nor an old man who does not runhis ful course; for the youngest wil die at a hundred, and at a hundred the sinner wil be accursed.
21 Ed edificheranno le case, e abiteranno; e pianteranno le vigne (e userannole), e mangeranno lo frutto loro.	21 They will build houses and live in them, they wil plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 E loro non edificheranno le case, e altri poi le abiteranno; e non pianteranno le cose, e altri le mangerà; però che secondo li dì delli legni, così saranno li di dello populo mio, e (li miei eletti) invecchieranno l'opere delle loro mani.	22 They will not build for others to live in, or plant for others to eat; for the days of my people wil be likethe days of a tree, and my chosen ones wil themselves use what they have made.
23 E li miei eletti non si affaticheranno indarno, e non ingenereranno nelle tribulazioni; però che lo seme delli benedetti sì è di Dio, e li loro nepoti saranno con loro.	23 They will not toil in vain, nor bear children destined to disaster, for they are the race of Yahweh'sblessed ones and so are their offspring.
24 E sarà; innanzi che gridino, io gli esaudirò; e parlando loro, io gli esaudirò.	24 Thus, before they cal I shal answer, before they stop speaking I shal have heard.
25 Lo lupo e l'agnello pasceranno insieme, e lo lione e il bue mangeranno la paglia; e lo pane del serpente sarà la (terra e la) polvere, (cioè che ogni uomo starà in santa pace, e non tanto le persone, ma le bestie); e non (noceranno nè) uccideranno in alcuno de' miei santi monti, dice lo Signore Iddio.	25 The wolf and the young lamb wil feed together, the lion wil eat hay like the ox, and dust be theserpent's food. No hurt, no harm wil be done on al my holy mountain, Yahweh says.
