Giobbe 16

BIBBIA TINTORI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Giobbe rispose, dicendo:	1 Then Job answered and said,
2 « Di tali cose ne ho sentite spesso; voi siete tutti dei consolatori molesti.	2 I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
3 Quando finiranno le vane ciance, chi t'importuna per farti parlare?	3 Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?
4 Anch'io potrei parlare come voi, se voi foste al mio posto;	4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
5 anch'io vi consolerei a parole, e scoterei la mia testa sopra di voi.	5 But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
6 Vi farei coraggio colla mia bocca, e moverei le mie labbra come per compatirvi.	6 Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
7 Ma or che devo fare? Anche a parlare non si calmerà il mio dolore, e se sto in silenzio non andrà lungi da me.	7 But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
8 Ma ormai il dolore mi ha fiaccato e sono annientate tutte le mie membra.	8 And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
9 Le mie rughe m'accusano, e un falsario s'è levato a contradirmi in faccia.	9 He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
10 Ha concentrato contro di me il suo furore, ha digrignato minaccioso contro di me i denti, il mio nemico mi ha guardato con occhi terribili.	10 They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me.
11 Hanno spalancato contro di me le loro bocche, han percosso ignominiosamente la mia guancia, si son saziati delle mie pene.	11 God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
12 Dio m'ha consegnato legato all'iniquo, mi ha abbandonato nelle mani degli empi,	12 I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
13 io che una volta ero così ricco, fui in un momento ridotto in polvere: afferratomi pel collo, mi stritolò. Mi ha posto come suo bersaglio,	13 His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
14 mi ha circondato colle sue lance; ha trafitti i miei fianchi, senza risparmiarmi, ed ha sparso per terra le mie viscere.	14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
15 Mi ha lacerato con ferite sopra ferite, mi si è gettato addosso come un gigante.	15 I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
16 Ho cucito un sacco sopra la mia pelle, ho coperto di cenere la mia carne.	16 My face is foul with weeping, and my eyelids is the shadow of death;
17 La mia faccia è gonfia dal pianto, le mie palpebre si sono oscurate.	17 Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.
18 Questo ho sofferto senza aver fatto nulla di male, mentre offrivo a Dio pura la mia preghiera.	18 O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.
19 O terra, non coprire il mio sangue, in te non trovi nascondigli il mio grido;	19 Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.
20 perchè, ecco è nel cielo il mio testimonio, è lassù chi mi conosce intimamente.	20 My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
21 I miei amici sono dei parolai, il mio occhio si volge lacrimando a Dio.	21 O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!
22 Oh, potesse l'uomo entrare in giudizio con Dio, come il figlio dell'uomo entra in giudizio col suo simile!	22 When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
23 Ma intanto i miei brevi anni passano, ed io cammino per una via senza ritorno ».
