SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 مزمور لداود لما كان في برية يهوذا‎. ‎يا الله الهي انت. اليك ابكّر. عطشت اليك نفسي يشتاق اليك جسدي في ارض ناشفة ويابسة بلا ماء	1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.
2 لكي ابصر قوتك ومجدك كما قد رأيتك في قدسك‎.	2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.
3 ‎لان رحمتك افضل من الحياة. شفتاي تسبحانك‎.	3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.
4 ‎هكذا اباركك في حياتي. باسمك ارفع يديّ‎.	4 Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.
5 ‎كما من شحم ودسم تشبع نفسي وبشفتي الابتهاج يسبحك فمي	5 Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.
6 اذا ذكرتك على فراشي. في السهد الهج بك‎.	6 On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,
7 ‎لانك كنت عونا لي وبظل جناحيك ابتهج	7 for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;
8 التصقت نفسي بك. يمينك تعضدني‎.	8 my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.
9 ‎اما الذين هم للتهلكة يطلبون نفسي فيدخلون في اسافل الارض‎.	9 May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,
10 ‎يدفعون الى يدي السيف. يكونون نصيبا لبنات آوى‎.	10 given over to the blade of the sword, and left as food for jackals.
11 ‎اما الملك فيفرح بالله. يفتخر كل من يحلف به. لان افواه المتكلمين بالكذب تسد	11 Then the king shall rejoice in God, al who swear by him shal gain recognition, for the mouths of liarsshall be silenced.
