Apocalipse 2

SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Ao anjo da igreja de Éfeso, escreve: Eis o que diz aquele que segura as sete estrelas na sua mão direita, aquele que anda pelo meio dos sete candelabros de ouro.	1 'Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven stars in his right hand and who lives among the seven golden lamp-stands:
2 Conheço tuas obras, teu trabalho e tua paciência: não podes suportar os maus, puseste à prova os que se dizem apóstolos e não o são e os achaste mentirosos.	2 I know your activities, your hard work and your perseverance. I know you cannot stand wicked people,and how you put to the test those who were self-styled apostles, and found them false.
3 Tens perseverança, sofreste pelo meu nome e não desanimaste.	3 I know too that you have perseverance, and have suffered for my name without growing tired.
4 Mas tenho contra ti que arrefeceste o teu primeiro amor.	4 Nevertheless, I have this complaint to make: you have less love now than formerly.
5 Lembra-te, pois, donde caíste. Arrepende-te e retorna às tuas primeiras obras. Senão, virei a ti e removerei o teu candelabro do seu lugar, caso não te arrependas.	5 Think where you were before you fell; repent, and behave as you did at first, or else, if you will notrepent, I shal come to you and take your lamp-stand from its place.
6 Mas isto tens de bem: detestas as obras dos nicolaítas, como eu as detesto.	6 It is in your favour, nevertheless, that you loathe as I do the way the Nicolaitans are behaving.
7 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: Ao vencedor darei de comer {do fruto} da árvore da vida, que se acha no paraíso de Deus.	7 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches: those who prove victoriousI will feed from the tree of life set in God's paradise."
8 Ao anjo da igreja de Esmirna, escreve: Eis o que diz o Primeiro e o Último, que foi morto e retomou a vida.	8 'Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna and say, "Here is the message of the First and the Last,who was dead and has come to life again:
9 Eu conheço a tua angústia e a tua pobreza - ainda que sejas rico - e também as difamações daqueles que se dizem judeus e não o são; são apenas uma sinagoga de Satanás.	9 I know your hardships and your poverty, and -- though you are rich -- the slander of the people whofalsely claim to be Jews but are real y members of the synagogue of Satan.
10 Nada temas ante o que hás de sofrer. Por estes dias o demônio vai lançar alguns de vós na prisão, para pôr-vos à prova. Tereis tribulações durante dez dias. Sê fiel até a morte e te darei a coroa da vida.	10 Do not be afraid of the sufferings that are coming to you. Look, the devil wil send some of you toprison to put you to the test, and you must face hardship for ten days. Even if you have to die, keep faithful, and Iwil give you the crown of life for your prize.
11 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: O vencedor não sofrerá dano algum da segunda morte.	11 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches: for those who provevictorious wil come to no harm from the second death."
12 Ao anjo da igreja de Pérgamo, escreve: Eis o que diz aquele que tem a espada afiada de dois gumes.	12 'Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum and say, "Here is the message of the one who has the sharp sword, double-edged:
13 Sei onde habitas: aí se acha o trono de Satanás. Mas tu te apegas firmemente ao meu nome e não renegaste a minha fé, mesmo naqueles dias em que minha fiel testemunha Antipas foi morto entre vós, onde Satanás habita.	13 I know where you live, in the place where Satan is enthroned, and that you stil hold firmly to my name,and did not disown your faith in me even when my faithful witness, Antipas, was kil ed among you, where Satanlives.
14 Todavia, tenho alguma coisa contra ti: é que tens aí sequazes da doutrina de Balaão, o qual ensinou Balac a fazer tropeçar os filhos de Israel, para levá-los a comer carne imolada aos ídolos e praticar imundícies.	14 "Nevertheless, I have one or two charges against you: some of you are fol owers of Balaam, whotaught Balak to set a trap for the Israelites so that they committed adultery by eating food that had beensacrificed to idols;
15 Tens também sequazes da doutrina dos nicolaítas.	15 and among you too there are some also who fol ow the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16 Arrepende-te, pois; senão virei em breve a ti e combaterei contra eles com a espada da minha boca.	16 So repent, or I shal soon come to you and attack these people with the sword out of my mouth.
17 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: Ao vencedor darei o maná escondido e lhe entregarei uma pedra branca, na qual está escrito um nome novo que ninguém conhece, senão aquele que o receber.	17 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches: to those who provevictorious I will give some hidden manna and a white stone, with a new name written on it, known only to theperson who receives it."
18 Ao anjo da igreja de Tiatira, escreve: Eis o que diz o Filho de Deus, que tem os olhos como chamas de fogo e os pés semelhantes ao fino bronze.	18 'Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira and say, "Here is the message of the Son of God who haseyes like a burning flame and feet like burnished bronze:
19 Conheço tuas obras, teu amor, tua fidelidade, tua generosidade, tua paciência e persistência; e as tuas últimas obras, que excedem as primeiras.	19 I know your activities, your love, your faith, your service and your perseverance, and I know how youare stil making progress.
20 Mas tenho contra ti que permites a Jezabel, mulher que se diz profetisa, seduzir meus servos e ensinar-lhes a praticar imundícies e comer carne imolada aos ídolos.	20 Nevertheless, I have a complaint to make: you tolerate the woman Jezebel who claims to be aprophetess, and by her teaching she is luring my servants away to commit the adultery of eating food which hasbeen sacrificed to idols.
21 Eu lhe dei tempo para arrepender-se, mas não quer arrepender-se de suas imundícies.	21 I have given her time to repent but she is not wil ing to repent of her adulterous life.
22 Desta vez a lançarei num leito, e com ela os cúmplices de seus adultérios para aí sofrerem muito, se não se arrependerem das suas obras.	22 Look, I am consigning her to a bed of pain, and al her partners in adultery to great hardship, unlessthey repent of their practices;
23 Farei perecer pela peste os seus filhos, e todas as igrejas hão de saber que eu sou aquele que sonda os rins e os corações, porque darei a cada um de vós segundo as suas obras.	23 and I will see that her children die, so that all the churches realise that it is I who test motives andthoughts and repay you as your deeds deserve.
24 A vós, porém, e aos demais de Tiatira que não seguis esta doutrina e não conheceis {como dizem} as profundezas de Satanás, não imporei outro fardo.	24 But on the rest of you in Thyatira, all of you who have not accepted this teaching or learnt the deepsecrets of Satan, as they are cal ed, I am not laying any other burden;
25 Mas guardai o que tendes até que eu venha.	25 but hold on firmly to what you already have until I come.
26 Então ao vencedor, ao que praticar minhas obras até o fim, dar-lhe-ei poder sobre as nações pagãs.	26 To anyone who proves victorious, and keeps working for me until the end, I will give the authority overthe nations
27 Ele as regerá com cetro de ferro, como se quebra um vaso de argila,	27 which I myself have been given by my Father, to rule them with an iron sceptre and shatter them likeso many pots.
28 assim como eu mesmo recebi o poder de meu Pai; e dar-lhe-ei a Estrela da manhã.	28 And I will give such a person the Morning Star.
29 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas.	29 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."
