SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Ao mestre de canto. De Davi. Diz o insensato em seu coração: Não há Deus. Corromperam-se os homens, sua conduta é abominável, não há um só que faça o bem.	1 For the leader. Of David. Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right.
2 O Senhor, do alto do céu, observa os filhos dos homens, para ver se, acaso, existe alguém sensato que busque a Deus.	2 The LORD looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God.
3 Mas todos eles se extraviaram e se perverteram; não há mais ninguém que faça o bem, nem um, nem mesmo um só.	3 All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one.
4 Não se emendarão esses obreiros do mal, que devoram meu povo como quem come pão? Eles que não invocam o Senhor?	4 Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon the LORD.
5 Mas irão tremer de pavor, porque Deus está com a raça dos justos;	5 They have good reason, then, to fear; God is with the company of the just.
6 pretendeis frustrar os planos do humilde, mas o Senhor é seu refúgio.	6 They would crush the hopes of the poor, but the poor have the LORD as their refuge.
7 Ah, que venha de Sião a salvação de Israel! Quando o Senhor tiver mudado a sorte de seu povo, Jacó exultará e Israel se alegrará.	7 Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice, and Israel be glad when the LORD restores his people!
