| 1 - Per consacrarmeli sacerdoti, farai così. Sceglierai dall'armento un vitello e due arieti senza macchia; | 1 "Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. Take one young bull and two rams without blemish, |
| 2 poi, di fior di farina di grano, farai dei pani azzimi, una focaccia non fermentata aspersa d'olio, e schiacciate egualmente azzime unte d'olio; tutto questo, | 2 and unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil. You shall make them of fine wheat flour. |
| 3 lo porrai in un canestro, e lo presenterai. Indi, farai accostare il vitello e i due arieti, | 3 And you shall put them in one basket and bring them in the basket, and bring the bull and the two rams. |
| 4 Aronne e i suoi figli all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza; e dopo che avrai fatto lavare con acqua il padre ed i figli, | 4 You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and wash them with water. |
| 5 rivestirai Aronne del suoi vestimenti: cioè, della veste di lino, della tunica, del sopraomerale e del razionale, che fermerai con la cintura; | 5 And you shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the coat and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastpiece, and gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod; |
| 6 gli porrai in capo la tiara, sulla tiara la lamina santa, | 6 and you shall set the turban on his head, and put the holy crown upon the turban. |
| 7 e gli verserai sul capo l'olio della consacrazione. Con questo rito sarà consacrato. | 7 And you shall take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head and anoint him. |
| 8 Farai accostare anche i suoi figliuoli, metterai loro le vesti di lino, li cingerai della cintura, | 8 Then you shall bring his sons, and put coats on them, |
| 9 tanto Aronne quanto i suoi figli, imporrai loro le mitre, e saranno così miei sacerdoti di culto perpetuo. Dopo che avrai consacrate le loro mani, | 9 and you shall gird them with girdles and bind caps on them; and the priesthood shall be theirs by a perpetual statute. Thus you shall ordain Aaron and his sons. |
| 10 farai venire il vitello davanti al tabernacolo della testimonianza; Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli gli imporranno le mani sul capo, | 10 "Then you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting. Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bull, |
| 11 e tu lo immolerai alla presenza del Signore presso l'entrata del tabernacolo della testimonianza. | 11 and you shall kill the bull before the LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting, |
| 12 Preso poi del sangue del vitello, ne bagnerai col dito i corni dell'altare; il rimanente sangue, lo verserai ai piedi di questo. | 12 and shall take part of the blood of the bull and put it upon the horns of the altar with your finger, and the rest of the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar. |
| 13 Prenderai poi tutto il grasso che riveste le interiora, la rete del fegato, i due reni col grasso che li avvolge, ed offrirai il tutto come incenso sopra l'altare; | 13 And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the appendage of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and burn them upon the altar. |
| 14 le carni poi del vitello, la pelle e gli escrementi, li brucerai fuori del campo, perchè è un sacrifizio per il peccato. | 14 But the flesh of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering. |
| 15 Quindi prenderai un ariete, sul cui capo Aronne e i suoi figliuoli imporranno le mani; | 15 "Then you shall take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram, |
| 16 dopo averlo immolato, prenderai del suo sangue, e lo verserai intorno all'altare. | 16 and you shall slaughter the ram, and shall take its blood and throw it against the altar round about. |
| 17 Taglierai poi a pezzi l'ariete, ne laverai le interiora ed i piedi, e li porrai sulle carni tagliate e sulla testa. | 17 Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head, |
| 18 Ed offrirai come incenso sopra l'altare tutto l'ariete; perchè è un'offerta al Signore, ed è gratissimo al Signore l'odore di quella vittima. | 18 and burn the whole ram upon the altar; it is a burnt offering to the LORD; it is a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the LORD. |
| 19 Indi prenderai l'altro ariete, e sul suo capo imporranno le mani Aronne e i suoi figli. | 19 "You shall take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram, |
| 20 Dopo averlo immolato, prenderai del suo sangue, e ne porrai sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro d'Aronne e dei suoi figli, e sul pollice della mano e del piede destro, e verserai il sangue sull'altare tutto in giro. | 20 and you shall kill the ram, and take part of its blood and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron and upon the tips of the right ears of his sons, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the altar round about. |
| 21 Poi, preso del sangue che è sull'altare, e dell'olio della consacrazione, ne aspergerai Aronne e le sue vesti, i suoi figli e i loro vestimenti. Consacrati loro e le vesti, | 21 Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron and his garments, and upon his sons and his sons' garments with him; and he and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons' garments with him. |
| 22 prenderai l'adipe dell'ariete, la coda, il grasso che circonda l'interiora, la rete del fegato, i due reni con l'adipe che li avvolge, e la spalla destra, poichè è desso l'ariete della consacrazione; | 22 "You shall also take the fat of the ram, and the fat tail, and the fat that covers the entrails, and the appendage of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of ordination), |
| 23 prenderai anche, dal canestro degli azzimi posto innanzi al Signore, un pane, una focaccia cosparsa d'olio, ed una schiacciata; | 23 and one loaf of bread, and one cake of bread with oil, and one wafer, out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before the LORD; |
| 24 tutte queste cose le porrai sulle mani d'Aronne e dei suoi figli, e le santificherai elevandole innanzi al Signore. | 24 and you shall put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. |
| 25 Poi, riprenderai ogni cosa dalle loro mani, e la brucerai sull'altare come olocausto d'odore soavissimo al cospetto del Signore, perché è sua oblazione. | 25 Then you shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar in addition to the burnt offering, as a pleasing odor before the LORD; it is an offering by fire to the LORD. |
| 26 Prenderai anche il petto dell'ariete col quale fu consacrato Aronne, lo santificherai innalzandolo innanzi al Signore, e sarà quella la tua porzione. | 26 "And you shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron's ordination and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be your portion. |
| 27 Santificherai anche il petto consacrato, e la spalla staccata dall'ariete | 27 And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh of the priests' portion, which is waved, and which is offered from the ram of ordination, since it is for Aaron and for his sons. |
| 28 col quale fu consacrato Aronne co' suoi figli, e sarà la porzione che Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli riceveranno con perpetuo diritto da' figli d'Israele; perchè sono le primizie messe da parte sulle vittime pacifiche che essi offrono al Signore. | 28 It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the people of Israel, for it is the priests' portion to be offered by the people of Israel from their peace offerings; it is their offering to the LORD. |
| 29 La veste santa che userà Aronne, l'avranno dopo di lui i suoi figli, per esser unti, e ricever con essa la consacrazione delle loro mani. | 29 "The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and ordained in them. |
| 30 Per sette giorni la porterà quello de' suoi figliuoli che sarà stato nominato pontefice in luogo di lui, e che entrerà nel tabernacolo della testimonianza per ministrare nel santuario. | 30 The son who is priest in his place shall wear them seven days, when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place. |
| 31 Prenderai anche l'ariete della consacrazione, ne cocerai le carni nel luogo santo, | 31 "You shall take the ram of ordination, and boil its flesh in a holy place; |
| 32 e ne mangeranno Aronne ed i suoi figli. Mangeranno anche, nel vestibolo del tabernacolo della testimonianza, i pani posti nel canestro, | 32 and Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting. |
| 33 acciò sia sacrifizio di placazione, e ne siano santificate le mani degli offerenti. Un estraneo non ne mangerà, perché son cose sante. | 33 They shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to ordain and consecrate them, but an outsider shall not eat of them, because they are holy. |
| 34 Che se avanzerà per l' indomani qualcosa delle carni consacrate, o dei pani, lo brucerai sul fuoco; non si mangeranno, perchè sono state santificate. | 34 And if any of the flesh for the ordination, or of the bread, remain until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy. |
| 35 Farai su Aronne e i suoi figli tutto quello che ti ho prescritto. Per sette giorni consacrerai le loro mani, | 35 "Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; through seven days shall you ordain them, |
| 36 e in ciascun giorno offrirai il vitello in espiazione per il peccato. Dopo immolata l'ostia d'espiazione, purificherai l'altare, e lo ungerai per santificarlo. | 36 and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall offer a sin offering for the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it, to consecrate it. |
| 37 Per sette giorni purificherai e santificherai l'altare e sarà cosa santissima; chiunque lo toccherà ne rimarrà santificato. | 37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall become holy. |
| 38 Questo è quello che sacrificherai sull'altare: Ogni giorno, in perpetuo, due agnelli d'un anno, | 38 "Now this is what you shall offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually. |
| 39 uno la mattina ed uno la sera. | 39 One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer in the evening; |
| 40 Col primo agnello, offrirai anche un decimo di fior di farina mescolato con un quarto di hin d'olio vergine, e altrettanto vino per la libazione. | 40 and with the first lamb a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a libation. |
| 41 Offrirai a sera il secondo agnello, secondo il rito del sacrifizio della mattina, e secondo quanto ti ho detto, in odore di soavità. | 41 And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, and shall offer with it a cereal offering and its libation, as in the morning, for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the LORD. |
| 42 È questo pei vostri discendenti un sacrifizio di perpetua oblazione innanzi al Signore, all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza, dove io mi stabilirò per parlarti. | 42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you. |
| 43 Di lì anche darò i miei ordini ai figli d' Israele, e l'altare sarà santificato dalla mia gloria. | 43 There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory; |
| 44 Santificherò anche il tabernacolo della testimonianza con l'altare, ed Aronne co' figli suoi, acciò esercitino il mio sacerdozio. | 44 I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate, to serve me as priests. |
| 45 Abiterò in mezzo a' figli d' Israele, e sarò il loro Dio, | 45 And I will dwell among the people of Israel, and will be their God. |
| 46 e sapranno ch' io sono il Signore Dio loro, che li condussi via dall'Egitto per rimanere in mezzo ad essi; io il Signore Dio loro. | 46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the LORD their God. |
