1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: The man who will have made a vow and espoused his soul to God shall give the price according to the estimation.	2 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: voici le prix du rachat d’une personne que l’on a consacrée à Yahvé par un vœu.
3 If it is a male from twenty years to sixty years, he shall give fifty shekels of silver, by the measure of the Sanctuary;	3 S’il s’agit d’un homme de 20 à 60 ans, tu l’estimeras à 50 sicles d’argent selon le sicle du sanctuaire.
4 if it is a woman, thirty.	4 Si c’est une femme, ton estimation sera de 30 sicles.
5 But from the fifth year until the twentieth, a male shall give twenty shekels; a female, ten.	5 Un garçon de cinq à 20 ans, sera estimé à 20 sicles, une fille du même âge à 10 sicles.
6 From one month until the fifth year, for a male, five shekels shall be given; for a female, three.	6 Un garçon d’un mois à cinq ans sera estimé à cinq sicles d’argent, une fille du même âge à trois sicles d’argent.
7 At sixty years and beyond, a male shall give fifteen shekels; a female, ten.	7 Au-dessus de 60 ans, un homme sera estimé à 15 sicles, une femme à 10 sicles.
8 If he is poor, and he does not have the means to pay the estimation, he shall stand before the priest, and however much he will value him and see that he is able to pay, so much shall he give.	8 Si celui qui a fait le vœu est trop pauvre pour payer le rachat, on le présentera devant le prêtre qui fera une estimation, en tenant compte des moyens de celui qui a fait le vœu.
9 But an animal which could be immolated to the Lord, if anyone has vowed it, shall be holy,	9 Si on offre à Yahvé un animal, il est donné à Yahvé. Il est donc consacré,
10 and it cannot be exchanged, that is, neither better for worse, nor worse for better. And if he has exchanged it, both that which was exchanged, and that for which it was exchanged shall be consecrated to the Lord.	10 on ne le changera pas. On ne mettra pas une vilaine bête à la place d’une bonne, ni une bonne à la place d’une vilaine. Si l’on remplace un animal par un autre, ils seront l’un et l’autre consacrés.
11 An unclean animal which could not be sacrificed to the Lord, if anyone has vowed it, shall be led before the priest,	11 S’il s’agit d’un animal impur, que l’on ne peut offrir à Yahvé, on présentera l’animal au prêtre.
12 who, judging whether it is either good or bad, shall set the price.	12 Le prêtre en fera l’estimation selon qu’il le trouve bon ou mauvais et l’on se fiera à l’estimation du prêtre.
13 But if he who offers it was willing to give, he shall add a fifth part above the estimation.	13 Si l’on veut le racheter, on ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation.
14 If a man has vowed his house, and he has sanctified it to the Lord, the priest shall examine it, whether it is good or bad, and it shall be sold according to the price which he will have established.	14 Si quelqu’un consacre sa maison en la vouant à Yahvé, le prêtre en fera l’estimation selon qu’elle est bonne ou mauvaise et l’on s’en tiendra à l’estimation du prêtre.
15 But if he who vowed it was willing to redeem it, he shall give a fifth part beyond the estimation, and he shall have the house.	15 Si celui qui a voué sa maison veut la racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation et elle lui reviendra.
16 But if he has vowed a field of his possession, and has consecrated it to the Lord, the price shall be estimated according to the measure of the seed. If the land would be sown with thirty measures of barley, then let it be sold for fifty shekels of silver.	16 Si quelqu’un consacre à Yahvé une partie de son champ, l’estimation se fera d’après la quantité de semence que reçoit ce champ, à raison de 50 sicles d’argent pour une mesure de semence d’orge.
17 If he has vowed his field beginning from the current year of Jubilee, as much as it may be worth, so shall it be estimated.	17 Si quelqu’un consacre son champ l’année même du Jubilé, on s’en tiendra à cette estimation.
18 But if, after some amount of time, the priest shall evaluate the money according to the number of years that remain until the Jubilee, then the price shall be reduced.	18 Mais s’il consacre son champ après le Jubilé, le prêtre évaluera le prix d’après le nombre d’années qui restent jusqu’au prochain Jubilé. Et il fera une réduction sur son estimation.
19 But if he who had vowed it, was willing to redeem his field, he shall add a fifth part of the money to the estimation, and then he shall possess it.	19 Si celui qui a consacré son champ veut le racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation et le champ lui reviendra.
20 But if he is not willing to redeem it, then it shall be sold to any other; he who vowed it is no longer able to redeem it.	20 Mais s’il ne rachète pas le champ et qu’on l’a vendu à un autre, le champ ne pourra plus être racheté.
21 For when the day of Jubilee arrives, it shall be sanctified to the Lord. And as a possession that has been consecrated, it rightfully belongs to the priest.	21 Et quand viendra l’année du Jubilé, le champ sera voué à Yahvé comme un champ voué par anathème. Il deviendra la propriété du prêtre.
22 If a field has been bought, and it is not from the possession of ancestors, it shall be sanctified to the Lord.	22 Si quelqu’un consacre à Yahvé un champ qui ne faisait pas partie de son patrimoine, mais qu’il a acheté,
23 The priest shall evaluate the price according to the number of years until the Jubilee; and the one who had vowed it shall give to the Lord.	23 le prêtre en calculera le prix selon la date de l’année du Jubilé. Cet homme paiera le jour même le prix fixé, et ce paiement sera une chose sainte pour Yahvé.
24 Then, in the Jubilee, it shall be returned to the former owner, the one who had sold it and who had held it within the lot of his possession.	24 À l’année du Jubilé le champ reviendra à celui qui l’avait vendu et au patrimoine duquel il appartenait.
25 All estimation shall be weighed according to the shekel of the Sanctuary. A shekel has twenty obols.	25 Toutes tes estimations seront faites en sicles du sanctuaire. Le sicle est de 20 guéras.
26 The firstborn, which belong to the Lord, no one is able to sanctify or vow, whether it is an ox, or a sheep, they are for the Lord.	26 Cependant personne ne pourra consacrer le premier-né de son bétail, car le premier-né, veau ou brebis, appartient déjà à Yahvé.
27 But if it is an unclean animal, whoever offers it shall redeem it, according to your estimation, and he shall add a fifth part to the price. If he is not willing to redeem it, it shall be sold to another for whatever amount it was estimated by you.	27 S’il s’agit d’un animal impur, on le rachètera au prix de ton estimation en y ajoutant un cinquième, et s’il n’est pas racheté, il sera vendu selon ton estimation.
28 All that is consecrated to the Lord, whether it is a man, or an animal, or a field, shall not be sold; neither is it able to be redeemed. Anything, once it has been consecrated, shall be the Holy of holies to the Lord.	28 Mais lorsqu’on aura voué à Yahvé par anathème une personne, un animal ou un champ qui font partie de son patrimoine, ceux-ci ne pourront ni être vendus, ni être rachetés, car tout ce qui est voué à la mort par anathème, appartient à Yahvé et à lui seul. C’est une chose très sainte.
29 And all that has been consecrated, which is offered by man, shall not be redeemed, but shall surely die.	29 C’est pourquoi aucune personne vouée par anathème ne pourra être rachetée: elle sera mise à mort.
30 All the tithes of the land, whether from the grain, or from the fruits of trees, are for the Lord and are sanctified to him.	30 La dîme prélevée sur les semences de la terre ou sur les fruits des arbres appartient à Yahvé: c’est une part consacrée à Yahvé.
31 But if anyone is willing to redeem his tithes, he shall add a fifth part to them.	31 Si quelqu’un veut racheter quelque chose de sa dîme, il y ajoutera un cinquième.
32 Out of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, which cross under the rod of the shepherd, every tenth one that arrives shall be sanctified to the Lord.	32 Le dixième du gros et du petit bétail, de tout ce qui fait partie du troupeau, sera consacré comme dîme à Yahvé.
33 It shall not be chosen by what is good or bad; neither shall it be exchanged for another. If anyone has exchanged it, both that which was exchanged, and that for which it was exchanged, shall be sanctified to the Lord and shall not be redeemed.	33 On ne fera pas de choix entre bon et mauvais, on ne remplacera pas l’un par l’autre. Et si l’on fait un échange, la bête remplacée et celle qui la remplace seront consacrées: on ne pourra les racheter.”
34 These are the precepts, which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel on mount Sinai.	34 Tels sont les commandements que Yahvé donna à Moïse pour les Israélites sur la montagne du Sinaï.
