1 'Write to the angel of the church in Sardis and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know about your behaviour: how you are reputed to be alive and yetare dead.	1 І до ангела Церкви в Сардах напиши: Ось що говорить той, хто має сім духів Божих і сім зірок: Знаю твої діла; що ім’я носиш, ніби живий, а мертвий ти.
2 Wake up; put some resolve into what little vigour you have left: it is dying fast. So far I have failed tonotice anything in your behaviour that my God could possibly cal perfect;	2 Будь чуйний і укріплюй решту, що їй скоро померти, бо я не знайшов твої діла завершеними перед Богом моїм.
3 remember how you first heard the message. Hold on to that. Repent! If you do not wake up, I shalcome to you like a thief, and you wil have no idea at what hour I shal come upon you.	3 Згадай, отже, як прийняв і слухав, збережи й покайся. Коли ж не чуватимеш, на тебе найду, як злодій, і ніяк не знатимеш, котрої години найду на тебе.
4 There are a few in Sardis, it is true, who have kept their robes unstained, and they are fit to come withme, dressed in white.	4 Але маєш трохи імен і в Сардах, що не споганили одеж своїх і ходитимуть зо мною в білих: бо достойні.
5 Anyone who proves victorious wil be dressed, like these, in white robes; I shal not blot that name outof the book of life, but acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.	5 Хто переможний — він одягнеться в одежі білі, і вже не викреслю імени його з книги життя, і визнаю ім’я його перед Отцем моїм і перед ангелами його.
6 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	6 Хто має ухо, нехай слухає, що Дух говорить Церквам.
7 'Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia and say, "Here is the message of the holy and true onewho has the key of David, so that when he opens, no one wil close, and when he closes, no one wil open:	7 До ангела Церкви в Філядельфії напиши: Ось що говорить Святий, Істинний, хто має ключ Давидів, хто відкриває і ніхто не зачинить, і закриває і ніхто не відчинить.
8 I know about your activities. Look, I have opened in front of you a door that no one will be able to close-- and I know that though you are not very strong, you have kept my commandments and not disowned myname.	8 Знаю твої діла; я відчинив перед тобою двері, і ніхто не спроможний зачинити їх; бо малу маєш силу, а зберіг моє слово і не зрікся імени мого.
9 Look, I am going to make the synagogue of Satan -- those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are liars,because they are no such thing -- I wil make them come and fal at your feet and recognize that I have lovedyou.	9 От, даю із зборища сатани тих, що називають себе юдеями, але не є ними, а лжуть, — от, спричиню їм, що прийдуть і поклоняться в ноги тобі, і взнають, що я полюбив тебе.
10 Because you have kept my commandment to persevere, I wil keep you safe in the time of trial whichis coming for the whole world, to put the people of the world to the test.	10 Що ти зберіг слово терпіння мого, то і я тебе збережу від години спокуси, що має прийти на вселенну — випробувати тих, що мешкають на землі.
11 I am coming soon: hold firmly to what you already have, and let no one take your victor's crown awayfrom you.	11 Гляди, приходжу скоро. Держи, що маєш, аби ніхто не вхопив вінця твого.
12 Anyone who proves victorious I wil make into a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and it wil stay therefor ever; I wil inscribe on it the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which is coming down from my God in heaven, and my own new name as wel .	12 Хто переможний, зроблю його стовпом у храмі Бога мого, і звідти він не вийде більше; і напишу на ньому ім’я Бога мого й ім’я міста Бога мого, нового Єрусалиму, що сходить з неба, від Бога мого, й ім’я моє нове.
13 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	13 Хто має вухо, нехай слухає, що Дух говорить Церквам.
14 'Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea and say, "Here is the message of the Amen, thetrustworthy, the true witness, the Principle of God's creation:	14 І до ангела Церкви в Лаодікеї напиши: Ось що говорить Амінь, свідок вірний і правдивий, початок створіння Божого.
15 I know about your activities: how you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were one or the other,	15 Знаю твої діла, що ні зимний ти, ні гарячий. Якби ти зимний був або гарячий.
16 but since you are neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.	16 Тому, що літеплий ти, але ні гарячий, ні зимний, то вивергну тебе з уст моїх.
17 You say to yourself: I am rich, I have made a fortune and have everything I want, never realising thatyou are wretchedly and pitiably poor, and blind and naked too.	17 Бо кажеш: «Багатий я, і розбагатів, і ні в чому потреби не маю», а не знаєш, що ти — злощасний і мізерний, і бідний, і сліпий, і голий.
18 I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you truly rich, and whiterobes to clothe you and hide your shameful nakedness, and ointment to put on your eyes to enable you to see.	18 Раджу тобі купити від мене золото прочищене огнем, щоб ти збагатів, і одежу білу, щоб зодягнувся, і не видно було сором наготи твоєї, і мастю очною помаж свої очі, щоб бачити міг.
19 I reprove and train those whom I love: so repent in real earnest.	19 Я, кого люблю, тих доганюю і караю. Тож будь ревний і покайся.
20 Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me cal ing and opens the door, I wilcome in to share a meal at that person's side.	20 От, стою при дверях і стукаю: як хто почує голос мій і відчинить двері, увійду до нього і вечерятиму з ним і він зо мною.
21 Anyone who proves victorious I wil al ow to share my throne, just as I have myself overcome andhave taken my seat with my Father on his throne.	21 Переможному дам сісти зо мною при престолі моїм, як і я переміг і сів з Отцем моїм на престолі його.
22 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches." '	22 Хто має вухо, нехай слухає, що Дух говорить Церквам.
