NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 'Write to the angel of the church in Sardis and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know about your behaviour: how you are reputed to be alive and yetare dead.	1 E all' angelo della Chiesa di Sardis scrivi: questo dice quel che ha sette Spiriti di Dio e sette stelle: io so le tue opere, perchè tu hai nome che tu vivi, e sei morto.
2 Wake up; put some resolve into what little vigour you have left: it is dying fast. So far I have failed tonotice anything in your behaviour that my God could possibly cal perfect;	2 Sii vigilante, e conferma li altri che saranno per dover morire; per che non trovo le opere tue esser piene dinanzi dal Dio mio.
3 remember how you first heard the message. Hold on to that. Repent! If you do not wake up, I shalcome to you like a thief, and you wil have no idea at what hour I shal come upon you.	3 Adunque abbi in mente, come tu hai ricevuto e udito, e serva e fa penitenza. Adunque se tu non vigilarai, io verrò [a te] come ladro, e non saperai a che ora verrò a te.
4 There are a few in Sardis, it is true, who have kept their robes unstained, and they are fit to come withme, dressed in white.	4 Ma tu hai pochi nomi in Sardis, i quali non hanno imbrattate le vestimenta sue; e vegneranno meco in vestimenta bianche, perchè sono degni.
5 Anyone who proves victorious wil be dressed, like these, in white robes; I shal not blot that name outof the book of life, but acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.	5 Quel che vincerà, così sarà vestito di vestimenta bianche, e non desfarò il nome suo del libro della vita, e confessarò il nome suo dinanzi al Padre mio, e dinanzi alli suoi angeli.
6 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	6 Quel che ha orecchie oda quel che il Spirito dice alle Chiese.
7 'Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia and say, "Here is the message of the holy and true onewho has the key of David, so that when he opens, no one wil close, and when he closes, no one wil open:	7 E all' angelo della Chiesa di Filadelfia scrivi: questo dice quello il quale è santo e vero, che ha la chiave di David; il quale apre, e nessuno serra; serra, e nessuno apre:
8 I know about your activities. Look, I have opened in front of you a door that no one will be able to close-- and I know that though you are not very strong, you have kept my commandments and not disowned myname.	8 Io so le opere tue; ed ecco ch' io ho dato dinanzi a te la porta aperta, la quale nessuno potrà serrare; perchè tu hai poche virtù, e hai servato la parola mia, e non hai negato il nome mio.
9 Look, I am going to make the synagogue of Satan -- those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are liars,because they are no such thing -- I wil make them come and fal at your feet and recognize that I have lovedyou.	9 Ecco ch' io darò della sinagoga di satana alcuni, li quali si dicono esser iudei, e non sono, ma mentono per la gola; ecco ch' io farò che verranno, e adoraranno dinanzi alli tuoi piedi; e saveranno ch' io t'ho amato.
10 Because you have kept my commandment to persevere, I wil keep you safe in the time of trial whichis coming for the whole world, to put the people of the world to the test.	10 Conciosia che tu hai servato la parola della pazienza mia, e io servarò te alla ora della tentazione che ha a venire al mondo a provar quelli che àbitano in terra.
11 I am coming soon: hold firmly to what you already have, and let no one take your victor's crown awayfrom you.	11 Ecco che vengo presto; tieni quel che tu hai, acciò che alcuno non ti toglia la corona tua.
12 Anyone who proves victorious I wil make into a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and it wil stay therefor ever; I wil inscribe on it the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which is coming down from my God in heaven, and my own new name as wel .	12 Quel che vincerae farò colonna nel tempio del Dio mio, e fuor non uscirà mai più; e scriverò sopra di quello il nome del Dio mio, e il nome della città del Dio mio, della nuova Ierusalem, la quale discende del cielo dal Dio mio, e il nome mio nuovo.
13 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	13 Chi ha orecchie oda quel che il Spirito dice alle Chiese.
14 'Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea and say, "Here is the message of the Amen, thetrustworthy, the true witness, the Principle of God's creation:	14 E all' angelo della Chiesa di Laodicea scrivi: questo dice il testimonio fedele e vero, il quale è principio della creatura di Dio:
15 I know about your activities: how you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were one or the other,	15 Io so le opere tue; perchè tu non sei frigido nè caldo; volesse Dio che tu fosti frigido ovver caldo!
16 but since you are neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.	16 Ma perche tu se' tiepido, e non se' frigido nè caldo, io cominciarò a vomerti fuora della bocca mia.
17 You say to yourself: I am rich, I have made a fortune and have everything I want, never realising thatyou are wretchedly and pitiably poor, and blind and naked too.	17 Perche tu dici: io son ricco e pieno, e non ho bisogno di alcuno; e non sai che tu se' misero e miserabile e povero e cieco e nudo.
18 I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you truly rich, and whiterobes to clothe you and hide your shameful nakedness, and ointment to put on your eyes to enable you to see.	18 (Adunque) io ti consiglio che tu debba comprare da me dell' auro affogato probato, acciò che tu diventi ricco; e tu ti vestirai con le vesti bianche, acciò che non appaia la confusione della nudità tua; e ungi li tuoi occhi di collirio acciò che tu vedi.
19 I reprove and train those whom I love: so repent in real earnest.	19 Io castigo e riprendo quelli che amo. Ama adunque, e fa penitenza.
20 Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me cal ing and opens the door, I wilcome in to share a meal at that person's side.	20 Ecco, io sto all' uscio, e batto; se alcuno udirà la voce mia, e aprirà a me la porta, entrarò a quello, e cenarò con esso, e lui meco.
21 Anyone who proves victorious I wil al ow to share my throne, just as I have myself overcome andhave taken my seat with my Father on his throne.	21 E quel che vincerà, darò a sedere meco nel mio trono, e così come io vinsi, e ho seduto con il Padre mio nel trono suo.
22 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches." '	22 Quel che ha orecchie oda quel che il Spirito dice alle Chiese.
