Revelation 19

1 After this I heard what seemed to be the great sound of a huge crowd in heaven, singing, 'Al eluia!Salvation and glory and power to our God!	1 Après cela j'entendis comme la voix d'une foule nombreuse, dans le Ciel, qui disait: Alleluia; le salut, la gloire et la puissance sont à notre Dieu,
2 He judges fairly, he punishes justly, and he has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted theearth with her prostitution; he has avenged the blood of his servants which she shed.'	2 parce que Ses jugements sont véritables et justes, qu'Il a jugé la grande prostituée qui a corrompu la terre par sa prostitution, et qu'Il a vengé le sang de Ses serviteurs répandu par ses mains.
3 And again they sang, 'Alleluia! The smoke of her wil rise for ever and ever.'	3 Et ils dirent une seconde fois: Alleluia; et sa fumée monte dans les siècles des siècles.
4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves down and worshipped Godseated on his throne, and they cried, 'Amen, Alleluia.'	4 Alors les vingt-quatre vieillards et les quatre animaux se prosternèrent et adorèrent Dieu, assis sur le trône, en disant: Amen, alleluia.
5 Then a voice came from the throne; it said, 'Praise our God, you servants of his and those who fearhim, smal and great alike.'	5 Et une voix sortit du trône, disant: Louez notre Dieu, vous tous Ses serviteurs, et vous qui le craignez, petits et grands.
6 And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the greatroar of thunder, answering, 'Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun;	6 Et j'entendis comme le bruit d'une grande foule, et comme le bruit de grandes eaux et de violents coups de tonnerre, qui disaient: Alleluia, parce que le Seigneur notre Dieu, le Tout-puissant, est entré dans Son règne.
7 let us be glad and joyful and give glory to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb.	7 Réjouissons-nous, et soyons dans l'allégresse, et rendons-Lui gloire, car les noces de l'Agneau sont venues, et Son épouse s'est préparée.
8 His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen ismade of the good deeds of the saints.'	8 Et il lui a été donné de se revêtir d'un lin éclatant et pur; car le lin, ce sont les actions justes des saints.
9 The angel said, 'Write this, "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb," ' andhe added, 'These words of God are true.'	9 Alors il me dit: Ces paroles de Dieu sont véritables.
10 Then I knelt at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, 'Never do that: I am your fellow-servant andthe fellow-servant of al your brothers who have in themselves the witness of Jesus. God alone you mustworship.' The witness of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.	10 Et je me jetai à ses pieds pour l'adorer. Mais il me dit: Garde-toi de le faire; je suis un serviteur comme toi, et comme tes frères qui ont le témoignage de Jésus. Adore Dieu; car le témoignage de Jésus est l'esprit de prophétie.
11 And now I saw heaven open, and a white horse appear; its rider was cal ed Trustworthy and True; inuprightness he judges and makes war.	11 Je vis ensuite le Ciel ouvert, et voici un cheval blanc; et Celui qui le montait S'appelait le Fidèle et le Véritable, Il juge et Il combat avec justice.
12 His eyes were flames of fire, and he was crowned with many coronets; the name written on him wasknown only to himself,	12 Ses yeux étaient comme une flamme de feu, et sur Sa tête il y avait de nombreux diadèmes, et Il portait écrit un nom que nul ne connaît, si ce n'est Lui-même.
13 his cloak was soaked in blood. He is known by the name, The Word of God.	13 Il était vêtu d'un vêtement teint de sang, et Il S'appelle le Verbe de Dieu.
14 Behind him, dressed in linen of dazzling white, rode the armies of heaven on white horses.	14 Les armées qui sont dans le Ciel Le suivaient sur des chevaux blancs, vêtues d'un lin blanc et pur.
15 From his mouth came a sharp sword with which to strike the unbelievers; he is the one who wil rulethem with an iron sceptre, and tread out the wine of Almighty God's fierce retribution.	15 Et de Sa bouche il sort une épée tranchante des deux côtés, pour en frapper les nations; et Il les gouverne avec une verge de fer, et Il foule la cuve du vin de la fureur de la colère du Dieu tout-puissant.
16 On his cloak and on his thigh a name was written: King of kings and Lord of lords.	16 Et sur Son vêtement et sur Sa cuisse Il porte ce nom écrit: Roi des rois et Seigneur des seigneurs.
17 I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he shouted aloud to al the birds that were flying highoverhead in the sky, 'Come here. Gather together at God's great feast.	17 Alors Je vis un Ange debout dans le soleil, et il cria d'une voix forte, en disant à tous les oiseaux qui volaient par le milieu du ciel: Venez, et assemblez-vous pour le grand festin de Dieu,
18 You wil eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of great generals and heroes, the flesh of horses andtheir riders and of al kinds of people, citizens and slaves, smal and great alike.'	18 pour manger la chair des rois, la chair des capitaines, la chair des puissants, la chair des chevaux et de ceux qui les montent, et la chair de tous les hommes, libres et esclaves, petits et grands.
19 Then I saw the beast, with al the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to fight theRider and his army.	19 Et je vis la bête, et les rois de la terre, et leurs armées assemblées pour faire la guerre à Celui qui était monté sur le cheval, et à Son armée.
20 But the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had worked miracles on thebeast's behalf and by them had deceived those who had accepted branding with the mark of the beast and thosewho had worshipped his statue. These two were hurled alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.	20 Mais la bête fut saisie, et avec elle le faux prophète qui avait fait devant elle des prodiges, par lesquels il avait séduit ceux qui avaient pris la marque de la bête, et qui avait adoré son image. Ils furent tous deux jetés vivants dans l'étang brûlant de feu et de soufre;
21 Al the rest were kil ed by the sword of the Rider, which came out of his mouth, and al the birdsglutted themselves with their flesh.	21 et les autres furent tués par l'épée qui sortait de la bouche de Celui qui était monté sur le cheval; et tous les oiseaux se rassasièrent de leur chair.
