Zechariah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 A proclamation. The word of Yahweh about Israel (and also about Judah). Yahweh, who spread outthe heaven and founded the earth and formed the human spirit within, declares:	1 Oráculo. Palabra de Yahveh sobre Israel. Oráculo de Yahveh, el que despliega los cielos, funda la tierra y forma el espíritu del hombre en su interior.
2 'Look, I shal make Jerusalem a cup to set al the surrounding peoples reeling. (That wil be at the timeof the siege of Jerusalem.)	2 He aquí que yo hago de Jerusalén una copa de vértigo para todos los pueblos del contorno (durante el asedio contra Jerusalén). (*Zacarías 12:2-b) (y también sobre Judá).
3 'When that day comes, I shal make Jerusalem a stone too heavy for al the peoples to lift; al thosewho try to lift it will hurt themselves severely, although al the nations of the world wil be massed against her.	3 Aquel día haré yo de Jerusalén una piedra de levantamiento para todos los pueblos: todos los que la levanten se desgarrarán completamente. Y contra ella se congregarán todas las naciones de la tierra.
4 When that day comes -- declares Yahweh -- I shall strike al the horses with panic and their riders withmadness. And I shal strike al the peoples with blindness. (But I shall keep watch over Judah.)	4 Aquel día - oráculo de Yahveh - heriré de aturdimiento a todo caballo, y a su caballero, de locura. Y a todos los pueblos heriré de ceguera. (Mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos.)
5 Then the rulers of Judah will say to themselves, "The strength of the inhabitants of Jerusalem lies inYahweh Sabaoth their God."	5 Entonces dirán en su corazón los jefes de Judá: «La fuerza de los habitantes de Jerusalén está en Yahveh Sebaot su Dios».
6 When that day comes, I shal make the rulers of Judah like a brazier burning in a pile of wood, like atorch flaming in a sheaf; and they wil devour al the peoples round them to right and left. And Jerusalem wil beful of people as before, where she stands (in Jerusalem).	6 Aquel día haré de los jefes de Judá como un brasero con fuego de leña, como una antorcha con fuego de gavillas; y devorarán a derecha e izquierda a todos los pueblos del contorno, mientras que Jerusalén será de nuevo habitada en su lugar.
7 Yahweh wil first save the tents of Judah, so that the glory of the House of David and the glory of theinhabitants of Jerusalem do not increase at Judah's expense.	7 Salvará Yahveh en primer lugar a las tiendas de Judá, para que el prestigio de la casa de David y el prestigio de los habitantes de Jerusalén no se crezca sobre Judá.
8 When that day comes, Yahweh will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the frailest of them wil belike David when that day comes, and the House of David wil be like God, like the angel of Yahweh, at theirhead.	8 Aquel día protegerá Yahveh a los habitantes de Jerusalén: el más flaco entre ellos será aquel día como David, y la casa de David será como Dios, como un ángel de Yahveh, al frente de ellos.
9 'When that day comes, I shal set about destroying all the nations who advance against Jerusalem.	9 Aquel día me dispondré a destruir a todas las naciones que vengan contra Jerusalén;
10 But over the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem I shall pour out a spirit of grace andprayer, and they wil look to me. They will mourn for the one whom they have pierced as though for an only child,and weep for him as people weep for a first-born child.	10 derramaré sobre la casa de David y sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén un espíritu de gracia y de oración; y mirarán hacia mí. En cuanto a aquél a quien traspasaron, harán lamentación por él como lamentación por hijo único, y le llorarán amargamente como se llora amargamente a un primogénito.
11 When that day comes, the mourning in Jerusalem wil be as great as the mourning for HadadRimmon in the Plain of Megiddo.	11 Aquel día será grande la lamentación en Jerusalén, como la lamentación de Hadad Rimmón en la llanura de Meguiddó.
12 And the country wil mourn clan by clan: The clan of the House of David by itself, and their women bythemselves; the clan of the House of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves;	12 Y se lamentará el país, cada familia aparte: la familia de la casa de David aparte y sus mujeres aparte; la familia de la casa de Natán aparte y sus mujeres aparte;
13 the clan of the House of Levi by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of the House ofShimei by itself, and their women by themselves;	13 la familia de la casa de Leví aparte; y sus mujeres aparte; la familia de la casa de Semeí aparte y sus mujeres aparte;
14 al the rest of the clans, every clan by itself, and their women by themselves.'	14 todas las demás familias, cada familia aparte y sus mujeres aparte.
