1 In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month,fourteen years to the day from the capture of the city, the hand of Yahweh was on me. He carried me away:	1 W dwudziestym piątym roku naszego wygnania, z początkiem roku, w dziesiątym dniu miesiąca, w czternaście lat po zdobyciu miasta, właśnie tego dnia spoczęła na mnie ręka Pana, i zaprowadził mnie On
2 in divine visions, he carried me away to the land of Israel and put me down on a very high mountain,on the south of which there seemed to be built a city.	2 w Bożym widzeniu do kraju Izraela oraz postawił mnie na pewnej bardzo wysokiej górze, a na niej na wprost mnie było coś, jakby budowa jakiegoś miasta.
3 He took me to it, and there I saw a man, whose appearance was like brass. He had a flax cord and ameasuring rod in his hand and was standing in the gateway.	3 Zaprowadził mnie tam i oto ukazał się wtedy mąż, który miał wygląd, jakby był z brązu; miał on lniany sznur w ręce oraz mierniczy pręt. Stał on przy bramie.
4 The man said to me, 'Son of man, look careful y, listen closely and pay attention to everything I showyou, since you have been brought here only for me to show it to you. Tel the House of Israel everything that yousee.'	4 I rzekł do mnie ów mąż: Synu człowieczy, popatrz oczami i przysłuchaj się uszami, i dokładnie uważaj na to, co będę ci ukazywać, albowiem zostałeś tu przyprowadzony po to, abyś to widział. Oznajmij domowi Izraela wszystko, co zobaczysz.
5 Now, the Temple was surrounded on all sides by an outer wall. The man was holding a measuring rodsix cubits long, each cubit a forearm and a handsbreadth. He measured the thickness of this construction -- onerod; and its height -- one rod.	5 I oto: mur otaczał od zewnątrz świątynię wokoło, a w ręku męża był mierniczy pręt długi aż na sześć łokci, liczony po łokciu i po jednej piędzi, i mierzył grubość budowy: jeden pręt, a wysokość także jeden pręt.
6 He went to the east gate, climbed the steps and measured its threshold: one rod deep.	6 Potem udał się ku bramie, zwróconej ku wschodowi, i wszedłszy po stopniach, zmierzył próg bramy: jeden pręt szerokości.

9 He measured the porch of the gate: eight cubits; its piers: two cubits; the porch of the gate was at theinner end.	9 I zmierzył przedsionek bramy: osiem łokci, oraz filary: dwa łokcie.
10 There were three guardrooms on each side of the east gate, al three of the same size; the piersbetween them al of the same thickness each side.	10 Wnęki bramy w kierunku wschodnim: trzy z tej strony i trzy z tamtej strony, wszystkie trzy tej samej miary, i filary tej samej miary, tak z jednej jak i z drugiej strony.
11 He measured the width of the entrance: ten cubits; and the width al down the gateway: thirteencubits.	11 I zmierzył szerokość wejścia przez bramę: dziesięć łokci, głębokość bramy: trzynaście łokci.
12 There was a rail in front of the guardrooms; each rail on either side was one cubit. And theguardrooms on either side were six cubits square.	12 Przed wnękami była przegroda po jednym łokciu z jednej i z drugiej strony, każda wnęka zaś miała sześć łokci z jednej i z drugiej strony.

17 He then took me to the outer court, which had rooms and a paved terrace going all the way round;there were thirty rooms on this terrace.	17 Potem zaprowadził mnie na dziedziniec zewnętrzny, i oto były tam cele oraz [kamienna] posadzka na dziedzińcu wokoło: trzydzieści cel było na posadzce.
18 This terrace, which came up to the sides of the gates and matched their depth, was the LowerTerrace. He measured the width of the court,	18 Bruk kamienny znajdował się na bok od bramy odpowiednio do głębokości bramy, był to dolny bruk kamienny.
19 from the front of the lower gate to the fac ade of the inner court, outside: a hundred cubits (on theeast and on the north).	19 I zmierzył szerokość dziedzińca od strony przedniej bramy dolnej aż do przedniej strony wewnętrznej bramy z zewnątrz: sto łokci.

22 Its windows, its porch and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the east gate. 30 The gateway, as wel as its porch, had windows al round; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-fivecubits wide.	30 "Przedsionki wokoło miały dwadzieścia pięć łokci długości i pięć łokci szerokości".

33 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others. 34 Its porch gave on to the outer court. There were palm trees on its piers on either side and eight stepsleading up to it.	34 Przedsionek jej leżał przy zewnętrznym dziedzińcu, ozdoby w kształcie palm były na jej filarach z jednej i drugiej strony, a wejście do niej miało osiem stopni.
35 He then took me to the north gate and measured it.	35 Następnie zaprowadził mnie ku bramie północnej i zmierzył ją: były to te same wymiary.
36 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others. The gateway had windows alround; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.	36 Miała ona swe wnęki oraz filary i przedsionek, i okna wokoło - pięćdziesiąt łokci długości i dwadzieścia pięć łokci szerokości.
37 Its porch gave on to the outer court. There were palm trees on its piers on either side and eight stepsleading up to it.	37 Jej przedsionek prowadził na zewnętrzny dziedziniec, i ozdoby w kształcie palm były na jej filarach z jednej i drugiej strony, a wejście do niej miało osiem stopni.
38 There was a room, the entrance to which was in the porch of the gateway, where they washed theburnt offerings.	38 Był tam portyk, wejście do niego było przy filarach bram. Tam to płukano żertwy całopalne.
39 And inside the porch of the gateway were slabs, two on either side, for slaughtering the burntofferings, the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation.	39 A w przedsionku bramy były dwa stoły po jednej i dwa stoły po drugiej stronie po to, by na nich zabijać żertwy całopalne, zadośćuczynne i przebłagalne.

42 There were also four slabs of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, a cubit and a half long, a cubitand a half wide and a cubit high, on which the instruments for slaughtering the burnt offerings and sacrifice wereplaced;	42 I cztery stoły do ofiary całopalenia były tam z ciosowych kamieni, długie na półtora łokcia i wysokie na jeden łokieć; na nich kładziono sprzęt do zabijania żertw na całopalenia i ofiary.
43 runnels a handsbreadth wide went al round the top, and on these slabs was put the sacrificial flesh.	43 A wokoło wewnątrz przymocowane było obrzeże szerokie na piędź, na stołach zaś leżało mięso ofiarne.
44 Then he took me into the inner court; there were two rooms in the inner court, one on the side of thenorth gate, facing south, the other on the side of the south gate, facing north.	44 "Potem wprowadził mnie na dziedziniec wewnętrzny". Poza bramą wewnętrzną były dwie cele na dziedzińcu wewnętrznym, jedna po boku bramy północnej, a przednia jej strona skierowana była ku południowi, i jedna po boku bramy południowej, a przednia jej strona skierowana była ku północy.
45 He told me, 'The room looking south is for the priests responsible for the service of the Temple,	45 I rzekł do mnie: Ta cela, której przednia strona skierowana jest ku południowi, jest przeznaczona dla kapłanów pełniących służbę przy świątyni.
46 and the room looking north is for the priests responsible for the service of the altar. These are thesons of Zadok, those of the sons of Levi who approach Yahweh to serve him.'	46 A cela, której przednia strona skierowana jest ku północy, jest przeznaczona dla kapłanów pełniących służbę przy ołtarzu.
