Isaiah 60

1 Arise, shine out, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you.	1 Ustani, zasini, jer svjetlost tvoja dolazi, nad tobom blista slava Jahvina.
2 Look! though night stil covers the earth and darkness the peoples, on you Yahweh is rising and overyou his glory can be seen.	2 A zemlju, evo, tmina pokriva, i mrklina narode! A tebe obasjava Jahve, i slava se njegova javlja nad tobom.
3 The nations wil come to your light and kings to your dawning brightness.	3 K tvojoj svjetlosti koračaju narodi, i kraljevi k istoku tvoga sjaja.
4 Lift up your eyes and look around: al are assembling and coming towards you, your sons coming fromfar away and your daughters being carried on the hip.	4 Podigni oči, obazri se: svi se sabiru, k tebi dolaze. Sinovi tvoji dolaze izdaleka, kćeri ti nose u naručju.
5 At this sight you wil grow radiant, your heart will throb and dilate, since the riches of the sea wil flow toyou, the wealth of the nations come to you;	5 Gledat ćeš tad i sjati radošću, igrat će srce i širit’ se, jer k tebi će poteći bogatstvo mora, blago naroda k tebi će pritjecati.
6 camels in throngs wil fill your streets, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; everyone in Saba willcome, bringing gold and incense and proclaiming Yahweh's praises.	6 Mnoštvo deva prekrit će te, jednogrbe deve iz Midjana i Efe. Svi će iz Šebe doći donoseći zlato i tamjan i hvale Jahvi pjevajući.
7 Al the flocks of Kedar will gather inside you, the rams of Nebaioth wil be at your service as acceptablevictims on my altar, and I shal glorify my glorious house.	7 Sva stada kedarska u tebi će se sabrati, ovnovi nebajotski bit će ti na službu. Penjat će se k’o ugodna žrtva na moj žrtvenik, proslavit ću dom slave svoje!
8 Who are these flying like a cloud, like doves to their dovecote?	8 Tko su oni što lebde poput oblaka, k’o golubovi prema golubinjacima svojim?
9 Why, the coasts and islands put their hope in me and the vessels of Tarshish take the lead in bringing your children from far away, and their silver and gold with them, for the sake of the name of Yahweh your God,of the Holy One of Israel who has made you glorious.	9 Da, to se zbog mene sabiru brodovi, lađe su taršiške pred njima da izdaleka dovezu tvoje sinove, a s njima srebro njihovo i zlato, zbog imena Jahve, Boga tvojega, zbog Sveca Izraelova koji te proslavi.
10 Foreigners wil rebuild your walls and their kings wil serve you. For though I struck you in anger, inmercy I have pitied you.	10 Zidine će tvoje obnoviti stranci i kraljevi njihovi služit će ti. U svojoj srdžbi ja sam te udario, al’ u svojoj naklonosti opet ti se smilovah.
11 Your gates wil always be open, never closed, either day or night, for the riches of the nations to bebrought you and their kings to be let in.	11 Vrata će tvoja biti otvorena svagda, ni danju ni noću neće se zatvarati, da propuste k tebi bogatstva naroda s kraljevima koji ih vode.
12 For the nation and kingdom that wil not serve you wil perish, and the nations wil be utterly destroyed.	12 Jer propast će narod i kraljevstvo koje ti ne bude htjelo služiti, i ti će se narodi sasvim zatrti.
13 The glory of the Lebanon wil come to you, cypress, plane-tree, box-tree, one and all, to adorn the siteof my sanctuary, for me to honour the place where I stand.	13 K tebi će doći slava Libanona, čempresi, jele i brijestovi skupa, da ukrase prostor mojega svetišta, podnožje će moje proslaviti!
14 Your oppressors' children wil humbly approach you, at your feet al who despised you will faladdressing you as 'City of Yahweh', 'Zion of the Holy One of Israel'.	14 K tebi će, sagnuti, dolaziti sinovi tvojih tlačitelja, pred noge ti padat’ koji te prezirahu. Nazivat će te gradom Jahvinim, Sionom Sveca Izraelova.
15 Instead of your being forsaken and hated, avoided by everyone, I will make you an object of eternalpride, a source of joy from age to age.	15 Zato što si bio ostavljen, omražen, izbjegavan, učinit ću te vječnim ponosom, radošću od koljena do koljena.
16 You wil suck the milk of nations, you wil suck the wealth of kings, and you wil know that I, Yahweh,am your Saviour, that your redeemer is the Mighty One of Jacob.	16 Ti ćeš sisati mlijeko naroda, sisat ćeš grudi kraljeva. I znat ćeš da sam ja, Jahve, spasitelj tvoj, Silni Jakovljev, tvoj otkupitelj.
17 For bronze I shal bring gold and for iron I shal bring silver, and for wood, bronze, and for stone, iron; Ishall make Peace your administration and Saving Justice your government.	17 Mjesto mjedi donijet ću zlato; mjesto željeza donijet ću srebro; mjesto drva, mjed; mjesto kamena, željezo. Za glavara tvoga postavit ću mir, pravdu za vladara.
18 Violence wil no longer be heard of in your country, nor devastation and ruin within your frontiers. Youwil cal your wal s 'Salvation' and your gates 'Praise'.	18 Više se neće slušat’ o nasilju u tvojoj zemlji ni o pustošenju i razaranju na tvojem području. Zidine ćeš svoje nazivati Spasom, Slavom svoja vrata.
19 No more wil the sun give you daylight, nor moonlight shine on you, but Yahweh wil be youreverlasting light, your God wil be your splendour.	19 Neće ti više sunce biti svjetlost danju nit’ će ti svijetlit’ mjesečina, nego će Jahve biti tvoje vječno svjetlo i tvoj će Bog biti tvoj sjaj.
20 Your sun will set no more nor wil your moon wane, for Yahweh wil be your everlasting light and yourdays of mourning will be over.	20 Sunce tvoje neće više zalaziti nit’ će ti mjesec pomrčati, jer će Jahve biti tvoje vječno svjetlo, i okončat će se dani tvoje žalosti.
21 Your people, al of them upright, wil possess the country for ever, the shoot I myself have planted, myhandiwork, for my own glory.	21 Svi u tvom narodu bit će pravednici i posjedovat će zemlju dovijeka, mog nasada izdanci, mojih ruku djelo, da bih se u njima proslavio.
22 The smal est wil grow into a thousand, the weakest one into a mighty nation. When the time is ripe, I,Yahweh, shal quickly bring it about.	22 Od najmanjega postat će tisuća, od neznatnoga moćan narod. Ja, Jahve, govorio sam; u pravo ću vrijeme izvršiti.
