Isaiah 27

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 That day Yahweh wil punish, with his unyielding sword, massive and strong, Leviathan the fleeingserpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he wil kil that dragon that lives in the sea.	1 Того дня Господь скарає своїм мечем, твердим, великим і потужним, Левіятана, швидкого змія, Левіятана, верткого змія, і вб’є потвору, що у морі.
2 That day, sing of the splendid vineyard!	2 Того дня скажуть: «Любий виноградник — співайте про нього!»
3 I, Yahweh, am its guardian, from time to time I water it; so that no harm befal it, I guard it night andday.	3 «Я, Господь — його сторож. Я щохвилини його поливаю і, щоб нічого з ним не сталось, я стережу його вночі і вдень.
4 -I do not have a wall. Who can reduce me to brambles and thorn-bushes? -I shal make war andtrample on it and at the same time burn it.	4 Я більш не маю гніву. А якщо б були в ньому будяки й тернина, то я пішов би на них боєм, спалив би їх усіх до одного.
5 Or should they beg for my protection, let them make their peace with me, peace let them make withme.	5 Хібащо він буде шукати захисту в мене, схоче укласти мир зо мною, — нехай же укладе мир зо мною!»
6 In days to come, Jacob will take root, Israel wil bud and blossom and the surface of the world be onevast harvest.	6 У майбутньому Яків закоріниться — Ізраїль зацвіте й вижене бруньки, сповнить світ плодами.
7 Has he struck him as he was struck by those who struck him? Has he murdered him as he wasmurdered by those who murdered him?	7 Хіба Господь бив його так, як бив тих, що його били? Чи вбивав його так, як убивав тих, що його вбивали?
8 By expel ing, by excluding him, you have executed a sentence, he has blown him away with a breathas rough as the east wind.	8 Він його покарав вигнанням, виселенням; він його викинув подувом своїм сильним у день східнього вітру.
9 For that is how Jacob's guilt wil be forgiven, such wil be the result of renouncing his sin, when al thealtar-stones have been smashed to pieces like lumps of chalk, when the sacred poles and incense-altars standno longer.	9 Ось так спокутується злочин Якова; такий буде ввесь плід, коли зніметься гріх із нього; він зітре все каміння жертовників, немов вапно, на порох стерте. Ашери й стовпи на честь сонця вже не встануть більше.
10 For the fortified city is abandoned now, deserted, forsaken as a desert where calves browse, wherethey lie down, destroying its branches.	10 Бо місто-кріпость запустіло, стане безлюдне, покинуте, мов пустиня, житло. Там будуть пастися телята, там вони лежатимуть та обгризатимуть віття.
11 When boughs go dry, they get burnt, women come and use them for firewood. Now, this is a peoplethat does not understand, and so its Maker wil not take pity on it, he who formed it wil not show it any mercy.	11 А коли висохнуть гілляки, їх обламають; прийдуть жінки і їх запалять. Бо люд це нерозумний; тому й Творцеві їх не шкода: Сотворитель їх не змилосердиться над ними.
12 When that day comes, Yahweh wil start his threshing from the course of the River to the Torrent ofEgypt, and you will be gathered one by one, Israelites!	12 І станеться того дня: Господь трусне колоссям від Ріки аж до єгипетського потоку, і вас, сини Ізраїля, один по одному зберуть докупи.
13 When that day comes, the great ram's-horn will be sounded, and those lost in Assyria will come, andthose banished to Egypt, and they wil worship Yahweh on the holy mountain, in Jerusalem.	13 І того дня засурмлять у сурму велику й зберуться ті, що в Ашшур-землі були загубились, і ті, що розсіялися були в Єгипетській країні, і поклоняться Господеві на горі святій у Єрусалимі.
