Isaiah 27

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 That day Yahweh wil punish, with his unyielding sword, massive and strong, Leviathan the fleeingserpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he wil kil that dragon that lives in the sea.	1 In quello dì visiterà lo Signore col coltello suo duro e forte e grande, sopra Leviatan serpente antico, e sopra Leviatan serpente torto, e ucciderà quello pesce che si chiama balena, lo quale è nel mare.
2 That day, sing of the splendid vineyard!	2 In quello di canterà a lui la vigna del vino puro.
3 I, Yahweh, am its guardian, from time to time I water it; so that no harm befal it, I guard it night andday.	3 Io sono lo Signore, lo quale la servo, e subitamente lo darò a lei, acciò che forse non sia visitato contro a lei; io la servo di notte e di dì.
4 -I do not have a wall. Who can reduce me to brambles and thorn-bushes? -I shal make war andtrample on it and at the same time burn it.	4 E di lei non è indegnazione: chi mi darà spina e arboro spinoso nella battaglia? anderò sopra lei, e ugualmente l'accenderò?
5 Or should they beg for my protection, let them make their peace with me, peace let them make withme.	5 O torrò io la mia fortezza? li farà pace a me? pace farà a me?
6 In days to come, Jacob will take root, Israel wil bud and blossom and the surface of the world be onevast harvest.	6 Chi usciranno con impeto di Iacob, e Israel fiorirà e germinerà, ed empieranno la faccia del mondo di seme.
7 Has he struck him as he was struck by those who struck him? Has he murdered him as he wasmurdered by those who murdered him?	7 Or percosselo egli secondo la piaga di quello ché percuotè sè medesimo? o ucciselo, come egli uccise gli suoi morti?
8 By expel ing, by excluding him, you have executed a sentence, he has blown him away with a breathas rough as the east wind.	8 Quando sarà stata gittata la misura contro alla misura (ciò ugualmente), allora la giudicherà; egli hae pensato nel suo spirito duro per lo dì della estate.
9 For that is how Jacob's guilt wil be forgiven, such wil be the result of renouncing his sin, when al thealtar-stones have been smashed to pieces like lumps of chalk, when the sacred poles and incense-altars standno longer.	9 E per ciò sopra questo sarà lasciata la iniquità nella casa di Iacob; e questo è tutto lo frutto, acciò che sia tolto via (tutto) lo peccato suo, quando averà posto tutte le pietre dello altare come le pietre della cenere percosse; non staranno alla luce li templi.
10 For the fortified city is abandoned now, deserted, forsaken as a desert where calves browse, wherethey lie down, destroying its branches.	10 E la città armata sarà desolata, e la bella sarà abbandonata, e sarà lasciata come lo deserto; quivi pascerà lo vitello, e ivi averà lo letto, e consumerà le sue altezze.
11 When boughs go dry, they get burnt, women come and use them for firewood. Now, this is a peoplethat does not understand, and so its Maker wil not take pity on it, he who formed it wil not show it any mercy.	11 Nella siccità della sua ricolta si spezzeranno le femine che verranno e meneranno quella; però che lo popolo non è savio; però non averà misericordia colui il quale fece quello; e quello che lo formoe non li perdonerà.
12 When that day comes, Yahweh wil start his threshing from the course of the River to the Torrent ofEgypt, and you will be gathered one by one, Israelites!	12 E sarà in quello dì, che Iddio percoterà dal letto del fiume (che si chiama Giordano) infino al rivo di Egitto, e voi vi radunerete a uno a uno, voi figliuoli di Israel.
13 When that day comes, the great ram's-horn will be sounded, and those lost in Assyria will come, andthose banished to Egypt, and they wil worship Yahweh on the holy mountain, in Jerusalem.	13 In quello dì si sonerà con la tromba grande, e verranno quelli ch' erano stati perduti della terra delli Assiri, e quelli ch' erano cacciati della terra di Egitto; e adoreranno lo Signore nel santo monte in Ierusalem.
