1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.	1 On fit les habits de cérémonie pour le service du sanctuaire en pourpre violette, en pourpre rouge, en tissu teint en rouge. On fit donc les habits sacrés pour Aaron, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.	2 L’éphod était en or, avec de la pourpre violette, de la pourpre rouge, du tissu de couleur et du lin fin tressé.
3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.	3 Avec des lamelles d’or que l’on avait étirées, puis découpées, on fit des fils pour travailler et pour broder la pourpre violette, la pourpre rouge, le tissu de couleur et le lin fin.
4 They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.	4 On fit des épaulettes attachées par les deux bouts.
5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.	5 La bande qui entoure l’éphod par-dessus faisait corps avec lui, elle était en or, avec de la pourpre violette, de la pourpre rouge, du tissu de couleur, du lin fin tressé, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
6 And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.	6 On travailla les pierres précieuses insérées dans des griffes en or; elles étaient gravées comme un sceau, portant les noms des fils d’Israël.
7 And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.	7 On les fixa sur les épaulettes de l’éphod, de façon à rappeler au souvenir de Yahvé les fils d’Israël, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
8 And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.	8 On fit le pectoral: un vrai travail d’artiste! De la même façon que l’éphod, en or avec de la pourpre violette, de la pourpre rouge, du tissu teint en rouge et du lin fin tressé.
9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.	9 Il était carré, sa longueur et sa largeur étaient d’une demi-coudée; il était doublé.
10 And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.	10 Il était serti de quatre rangées de pierres précieuses: un rubis, une topaze et une émeraude formaient la première rangée;
11 And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.	11 une malachite, un saphir et un diamant, la seconde rangée;
12 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.	12 une opale, une agate et une améthyste, la troisième rangée;
13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.	13 une chrysolithe, un onyx et un jaspe, la quatrième rangée. Elles étaient fixées, bien serties, dans des griffes d’or.
14 And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.	14 Les pierres portaient les noms des fils d’Israël. Toutes les douze portaient un nom, gravé comme sur un sceau, pour chacune des douze tribus.
15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.	15 Pour le pectoral on fit des chaînettes d’or pur, tressées comme des cordons.
16 And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.	16 On fit deux griffes d’or et deux anneaux d’or, et on fixa les deux anneaux aux deux extrémités du pectoral.
17 And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.	17 Dans les deux anneaux fixés aux extrémités du pectoral on passa les deux cordonnets d’or,
18 And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.	18 et on attacha les extrémités des cordonnets aux deux griffes d’or. On les plaça sur les épaulettes, par devant.
19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.	19 On fit encore deux anneaux d’or que l’on plaça aux deux extrémités du pectoral, sur le rebord intérieur du côté de l’éphod.
20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.	20 On fit enfin deux anneaux d’or qu’on plaça sur les deux épaulettes, en dessous de l’éphod, sur le devant, près de l’attache, par-dessus la bande de l’éphod.
21 And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.	21 On attacha le pectoral par ces anneaux aux anneaux de l’éphod, avec un cordon de pourpre violette, pour que le pectoral se trouve au-dessus de la bande de l’éphod. Le pectoral ne pouvait donc se détacher de l’éphod, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.	22 Le manteau de l’éphod avait été fait par un tisserand, tout en pourpre violette.
23 And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.	23 Au milieu du manteau de l’éphod, il y avait une ouverture semblable à celle d’une armure, et cette ouverture était bordée tout autour, pour éviter de se déchirer.
24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.	24 Sur le bord inférieur du manteau il y avait des grenades de pourpre violette, de pourpre rouge, de tissu de couleur et de lin fin.
25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;	25 On fit des clochettes d’or pur, et on les attacha au milieu des grenades, sur le bord inférieur du manteau.
26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.	26 Clochettes et grenades alternaient sur tout le bord de la robe destinée au service du sanctuaire, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,	27 On tissa des tuniques de lin pour Aaron et ses fils.
28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,	28 La tiare était en lin, ainsi que les mitres. Elles leur servaient de parure.
29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.	29 Les caleçons blancs étaient en lin fin; quant à la ceinture de lin, elle était damassée de pourpre violette, de pourpre rouge et de tissu de couleur, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.	30 Une lame d’or pur ornait le diadème sacré. On avait gravé dessus, comme on grave sur un sceau: “Consacré à Yahvé.”
31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.	31 On l’attacha avec un cordon de pourpre violette, elle fut placée sur la tiare, en haut, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.	32 C’est ainsi que fut terminé tout le travail de la Demeure, de la Tente du Rendez-Vous; les Israélites firent tout comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
33 And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,	33 On présenta alors à Moïse la Demeure, la Tente et tous ses ustensiles, ses agrafes, ses planches, ses traverses, ses colonnes et ses supports:
34 And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,	34 la couverture de peaux de béliers teinte en rouge, la couverture de peaux de poisson et la tenture de séparation,
35 The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,	35 l’Arche du Témoignage avec ses barres et l’Instrument de l’Expiation,
36 The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,	36 la table avec tous ses ustensiles et les pains de proposition;
37 The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,	37 le chandelier d’or pur avec ses lampes, ses ustensiles et l’huile pour la lumière;
38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,	38 l’autel d’or, l’huile pour la consécration, le parfum pour l’encens, ainsi que le rideau pour l’entrée de la tente;
39 The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,	39 l’autel de bronze, sa grille de bronze, ses barres et tous ses ustensiles; le bassin avec son support; les rideaux de la cour, les colonnes, les supports, la tenture de la porte de la cour;
40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,	40 la corde et les piquets, ainsi que tous les accessoires pour le service de la Demeure, pour la Tente du Rendez-Vous;
41 The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.	41 les vêtements de cérémonie pour le service du sanctuaire, les vêtements sacrés pour le prêtre Aaron et les vêtements de ses fils pour l’exercice de leur ministère.
42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.	42 Les Israélites avaient fait tout cela en se conformant exactement à tout ce que Yahvé avait ordonné à Moïse.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.	43 Moïse examina tout ce travail, tout ce qu’ils avaient fait: ils l’avaient fait comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné, et Moïse les bénit.
