1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.	1 Le Seigneur règne, les peuples en ont tremblé; il est là sur les Chérubins, la terre s’affole.
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.	2 Le Seigneur est dans Sion, très grand, très haut par-dessus tous les peuples.
3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:	3 Ils célèbrent ton Nom, grand et terrible: “Oui, il est saint,
4 and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 c’est un roi puissant qui aime le droit!” Car tu es venu restaurer la droiture et tu mets en Israël le droit, le juste jugement.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.	5 Exaltez le Seigneur notre Dieu, courbez-vous devant l’arche, il y pose ses pieds, dites: “Oui, il est saint!”
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:	6 Moïse, Aaron étaient ses prêtres, Samuel aussi invoquait son nom. Ils invoquaient le Seigneur et lui leur répondait.
7 he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.	7 De la colonne de nuée il leur parlait, ils observaient ses ordres, les lois qu’il leur donnait.
8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 Ô Seigneur, notre Dieu, tu leur répondais, tu étais avec eux un Dieu patient, mais tu ne leur passais rien.
9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.	9 Exaltez le Seigneur notre Dieu, adorez-le sur sa sainte montagne, dites: “Oui, il est saint, le Seigneur notre Dieu!”
