1 Unto the end. A psalm for David.	1 Du maître de chant. Psaume de David.
2 May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee.	2 Qu'il te réponde, Yahvé, au jour d'angoisse, qu'il te protège, le nom du Dieu de Jacob!
3 May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion.	3 Qu'il t'envoie du sanctuaire un secours et de Sion qu'il te soutienne!
4 May he be mindful of all thy sacrifices: and may thy whole burnt offering be made fat.	4 Qu'il se rappelle toutes tes offrandes, ton holocauste, qu'il le trouve savoureux!
5 May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.	5 Qu'il te donne selon ton coeur et tous tes desseins, qu'il les seconde!
6 We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.	6 Que nous criions de joie en ton salut, qu'au nom de notre Dieu nous pavoisions! Que Yahvéaccomplisse toutes tes requêtes!
7 The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers.	7 Maintenant je connais que Yahvé donne le salut à son messie, des cieux de sainteté il lui répondrapar les gestes sauveurs de sa droite.
8 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.	8 Aux uns les chars, aux autres les chevaux, à nous d'invoquer le nom de Yahvé notre Dieu.
9 They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee.	9 Eux, ils plient, ils tombent, nous, debout, nous tenons.
	10 Yahvé, sauve le roi, réponds-nous au jour de notre appel.
