1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 ALLELUJA! Dicsérjétek az Urat, ti szolgái, dicsérjétek az Úr nevét!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Áldott legyen az Úr neve most és mindörökké!
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 Napkelettől napnyugatig dicsértessék az Úr neve!
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 Fölséges az Úr minden nemzet fölött, dicsősége fölülmúlja az egeket.
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 Ki olyan mint az Úr, a mi Istenünk, aki a magasságban lakik,
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 de lehajol hogy letekintsen az égre és a földre?
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 Fölemeli a nincstelent a porból, fölsegíti a szegényt a sárból,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 hogy helyet adjon neki a fejedelmek között, népének fejedelmei között.
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 Úgy lakhat házában a gyermektelen asszony, mint a fiain örvendő anya.
