DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben, servidores del Señor, alaben el nombre del Señor.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Bendito sea el nombre del Señor, desde ahora y para siempre.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 Desde la salida del sol hasta su ocaso, sea alabado el nombre del Señor.
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 El Señor está sobre todas las naciones, su gloria se eleva sobre el cielo,
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 ¿Quién es como el Señor, nuestro Dios, que tiene su morada en las alturas,
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 y se inclina para contemplar el cielo y la tierra?
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 El levanta del polvo al desvalido, alza al pobre de su miseria,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 para hacerlo sentar entre los nobles, entre los nobles y su pueblo;
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 él honra a la mujer estéril en su hogar, haciendo de ella una madre feliz.
