DIODATI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici SIGNORE, il re si rallegrerà nella tua forza; E quanto festeggerà egli grandemente della tua vittoria!	1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 Tu gli hai dato il desio del suo cuore, E non gli hai rifiutato quel ch’egli ha pronunziato colle sue labbra. Sela.	2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
3 Perciocchè tu gli sei venuto incontro con benedizioni di beni; Tu gli hai posta in sul capo una corona d’oro finissimo.	3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 Egli ti aveva chiesta vita. E tu gli hai dato lunghezza di giorni in perpetuo.	4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5 La sua gloria è grande per la tua vittoria; Tu hai messa sopra lui maestà e magnificenza;	5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 Perciocchè tu l’hai posto in benedizioni in perpetuo; Tu l’hai rallegrato di letizia col tuo volto	6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 Perciocchè il re si confida nel Signore, E nella benignità dell’Altissimo, egli non sarà giammai smosso.	7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 La tua mano troverà tutti i tuoi nemici; La tua destra troverà quelli che t’odiano.	8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 Tu li renderai simili ad un forno ardente, Al tempo della tua ira; Il Signore li abisserà nel suo cruccio, E il fuoco li divorerà.	9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 Tu farai perire il frutto loro d’in sulla terra, E la lor progenie d’infra i figliuoli degli uomini;	10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 Perciocchè hanno ordito del male contro a te, Ed hanno divisata una malizia, della quale però non potranno venire a capo.	11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
12 Perciocchè tu li metterai per tuo bersaglio; Tu tirerai diritto colle corde de’ tuoi archi contro alla lor faccia.	12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 Innalzati, Signore, colla tua forza; Noi canteremo, e salmeggeremo la tua potenza	13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
