2 Signore, ascolta il mio grido; Sieno le tue orecchie attente Alla voce delle mie supplicazioni.	2 Lord, hear my cry! May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3 Signore, se tu poni mente alle iniquità, Chi potrà durare, o Signore?	3 If you, LORD, mark our sins, Lord, who can stand?
4 Ma appo te vi è perdono, Acciocchè tu sii temuto	4 But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered.
5 Io ho aspettato il Signore; l’anima mia l’ha aspettato, Ed io ho sperato nella sua parola.	5 I wait with longing for the LORD, my soul waits for his word.
